What we like

The Château: walk through traditional gardens or sleep in a bed that once belonged to the Windsor family... this is truly a place steeped in history.
Decoration: fireplaces, a piano, rugs and tapestries... all the authentic decor of a Renaissance château.
Location: situated in the heart of the village of Saint-Siffret, a typical Uzège village with a restaurant, a park under the plane trees and stone houses.

Things to note

Pool Safety: although the pool is protected by a fence, we recommend that children are supervised when in its vicinity.

Between the sea and the Cévennes, Saint-Siffret is five minutes from Uzès, a town which will charm you with its Medieval streets and its picturesque countryside. People come for its classical music festival, Les Nuits musicales d'Uzès, and to discover the Wednesday farmers' markets. Curious botanists can visit the bamboo grove of Anduze, and stroll through the scrubland with scents of thyme and Provençal herbs. A visit to the Pont du Gard is a must, on foot or with a kayak.

Exterior

Elegantly trimmed cypress trees, an impeccable lawn, Anduze pottery and a stone fountain make up the decor of this château. With countryside as far as the eye can see, take a refreshing dip in the swimming pool after exploring all of the remarkable Uzège sites.

Pool

This 11m x 6m saltwater swimming pool is surrounded by wrought iron deckchairs. Enjoy delicious meals with your loved ones under the shaded terrace complete with a charcoal barbecue and a pizza oven.

Interior

Every room in this marvellous château offers historical decor to enrich your stay. The authentic fireplaces, paintings, rugs and antique beds will transport you to another world and another time. 
On the ground floor, you can enjoy two living rooms, a very well equipped kitchen and a large reception room with a piano. On the first floor there are four bedrooms with their own private bathrooms, and the possibility of an additional bedroom on the second floor (upon request).
