Take the time to stroll through this village of exceptional beauty! Yellow, orange, red! The facades of the houses display their dazzling colors and make Roussillon a very unique village. The contrast with the lush green vegetation and the blue sky makes this place magical! A real pleasure for the eyes!

The village has retained an old door rebuilt into a bell tower, an annex to the church: the belfry. The Saint-Michel church, which dates from the 12th century, has been restored several times. Be sure to climb to the very top of the village: an orientation table offers an incredible panorama of the Vaucluse mountains and Mont Ventoux. Finally, if you are curious, go in search of the fountain-washhouse of the Naiades, at the bottom of the village. Built in the 18th century, it was the only one in the village at the time.

How not to be amazed by these unusual landscapes shaped by two centuries of ocher exploitation and by the work of time? the walk leaves no one indifferent!

A visit to Ôkhra, the Ocher eco-museum is a very interesting additional experience. In an incredible setting, the old ocher factory in the village offers young and old a unique experience: a guided tour to learn all about ochres and colours, from prehistory to the present day! On the sidelines of the visit, many workshops are offered to learn how to make pastels, watercolors and paintings. A bookstore sells a fairly wide range of products related to the use of colors.
