Style: Le Chateau is magical. It is completely unique. It is a private home decorated artistically yet flamboyantly, with an eclectic style.
Privacy: with not one, not two, but three guest houses on offer, this property is the perfect place for bringing families and groups of friends together whilst allowing individuals to enjoy moments of complete and total bliss.
Village Within Walking Distance: Château du sud is the ideal base for those who want to explore Provence. Located in an authentic village with larger towns such as Avignon and Uzès reachable in just a short drive.

Exterior

Built in 1543 this is an amazing property for those wanting a truly memorable south of France experience. Surrounded by Côte de Rhône vineyards and forests, with balmy temperatures extending the season and wonderful produce for gourmands you'll enjoy dining alfresco whilst admiring the views from a variety of the chateau terraces and the pretty garden terraces overlooking the pool.

Pool

Enjoy a refreshing dip, whatever the weather, in the large 15m x 6m heated pool with a depth of 1.2m-2m... or lounge nearby on one of the luxurious sun loungers.

Interior

Built in 1543, this is a property for the connoisseur, the artist, and those wanting peace and tranquillity yet also part of a charming small village with amenities to hand. It comes fully equipped with all the modern comforts, high thread count Egyptian bedding,  fabulously comfortable beds, fully functional and well equipped kitchens (Lacanche 3 ovens).
On the château's first floor, you can enjoy the gracious formal living room, elegant dining room, large dine-in kitchen and separate WC.
There are two large ensuite bedrooms on the second floor and three double ensuite bedrooms on the ground floor off the main entry hall. To access these three private bedrooms, you pass by a room with two additional single beds, making these four rooms suitable for a family suite if required. On the lower ground floor, with access to the pool terrace, there is a casual living/dining room with TV and a second fully equipped kitchen, a large double bedroom with four poster bed, study area and ensuite bathroom.
Across the pool terrace, there are three charming stone cottages with pretty garden terraces. Two of the cottages each have a double ensuite bedroom and the third cottage has two bedrooms with a shared bathroom.

Bedrooms

This idyllic property sleeps up to 22 guests in 10 elegant bedrooms, 6 of which are located in the main house, with the remaining 4 bedrooms in 3 charming stone cottages across the pool terrace from the château.

On the second floor of the château:
Bedroom 1/Master: with study, emperor-sized double bed and ensuite bathroom with sunken bath, walk-in shower, double sinks and WC.
Bedroom 2: with emperor-sized double bed and ensuite bathroom with claw-foot bath/shower, double sinks and WC.

On the ground floor of the château:
Bedroom 3: with king-sized metal-framed double bed and ensuite bathroom with claw-foot bath/shower, sink and WC.
Bedroom 4: with king-sized double bed and ensuite with walk-in shower, sink and WC.
Bedroom 5: with king-sized double bed and ensuite with walk-in shower, sink and WC.
To access bedrooms 3, 4 and 5, you pass through a room with two single beds, making these four rooms suitable for a family suite if required.

On the lower ground floor of the château:
Bedroom 6: with king-sized four poster bed, study area and ensuite bathroom with bath/shower, double sinks and WC. Bedroom 6 is on the same level as the pool terrace and adjacent to a casual living/dining room.

In Cottage 1:
Bedroom 7: with king-sized double bed and ensuite bathroom with bath/shower, double sinks and WC.

In Cottage 2:
Bedroom 8: with two single beds.
Bedroom 9: with king-sized double bed.
There is a bathroom with bath/shower, double sinks and separate WC situated between bedrooms 8 and 9.

In Cottage 3:
Bedroom 10: with king-sized double bed and ensuite bathroom with bath/shower, sink and WC. An additional bed or baby's cot can be added to this room if required.
