What we like

Heated Pool: swim in complete luxury whatever the weather!
Views: enjoy breath-taking panoramic views of the Luberon valley.
Tranquility: this stunning farmhouse rests undisturbed in absolute calm and tranquility.

Things to note

Pool: the pool has a security alarm but extra care should be taken with young children.

Mas les Bories is situated on a tranquil plot, with incredible views just moments from the heart of Gordes. Enter the property through an electric gate to a shaded courtyard, featuring tall pine trees and a botanical garden.

Exterior

This property's beautiful garden truly makes the most of the incredible valley views... whether you're dining in the shade or sunbathing by the pool, you will be stunned by the glimpses of Bonnieux and Roussillon that can be seen through the trees. These tall trees by the pool are perfect for protecting sunbathers from the "mistral" too!

Pool

The heated 10m x 5m swimming pool has a shaded area to sunbathe that is protected from the mistral wind by trees. There is plenty of sunlight and a stunning view of the Luberon valley. The swimming pool is secured by a hard cover and has steps in the shallow end.

Interior

Entering through the traditional wooden door, the entrance hall features high ceilings and stunning views from the moment you step into the property. Stone floors run throughout the farmhouse with traditional plastered walls giving texture and warmth to the main sitting room and kitchen.

The living room boasts high ceilings, a traditional reclaimed antique stone fireplace and is dressed simply with a mixture of modern and French antique furniture. From here you can enjoy views to the garden and valley beyond. Nearby is the kitchen, with traditional terracotta stone floor and traditional wooden beams, this room centres around the circular table with seating for 6-8 people. The kitchen connects to a stunning shaded terrace which is the perfect place to dine with friends or family whilst marvelling at the magnificent views.

Bedrooms

The ground floor bedrooms are all air-conditioned and have ensuite bathrooms, decorated in a traditional French style with some antique furniture and built-in wardrobes. The final bedroom is accessed via an external staircase and has views to the valley and courtyard below; it boasts an ensuite bathroom, desk area for working and sofa space.
