Villa for rent Provence for 5 people

What we like

Setting: in the heart of a Provençal olive oil estate, this property is surrounded by acres of olive groves and fruit orchards.
Style: enjoy the authentic 17th century Provence meets modern decor feel!
Air conditioning: to cool off the bedrooms at the end of a hot summer’s day.
Welcome pack: because it’s not everywhere that you get home-grown organic olive oil, jam and wine from the region!

Things to note

Start day: rentals run from Sunday to Sunday, with one week minimum.
Pool security: the pool has an alarm for security but care should be taken with young children.

Exterior

The 200m2 property is part of an organic olive grove estate, with fruit orchards too, extending over 11 hectares (27 acres) of fertile Provence land. Your welcome pack includes the produce of this land – olive oil, jams and wine. The house has two shaded outdoor dining tables and a gas barbecue in the lush garden which is planted with trees. There is also plenty of secure, gated parking, and the house is set well back from the road.

Pool

The pool measures 11m x 5m (36 x 16ft) and has a depth of 1m to 2.2m. It is heated from the end of April to mid-October. Around the pool are sun loungers and parasols.

Interior

The house forms one wing of the owners’ house so it is semi-detached, forming part of a U round a lawned garden. However the garden and pool area are completely private for your peace of mind and tranquillity during your stay. The house has a homely modern design (as well as air-conditioned bedrooms and heated pool) within an ancient building dating back to the 1600s.
Living Room: the cosy living room with dining table has a well-matched blend of modern and antique furniture. The TV has DVD and Canal+ channels, including all French channels, CNN and BBC World.
Kitchen: the kitchen is equipped with wall-mounted oven, 4-ring gas stove, microwave, dishwasher, American fridge-freezer with ice dispenser, Nespresso and filter coffee machine, washing machine and tumble dryer.
Guest WC: downstairs guest WC.

Bedrooms

All bedrooms are air-conditioned. The house sleeps 5 people in 3 upstairs bedrooms, with 2 bathrooms.

Bedroom 1: with a queen-sized double bed, which can be converted into two single beds upon request, a TV and a private bathroom with a shower.
Bedroom 2: with a double bed and a view of the Luberon.
Bedroom 3: with a queen-sized double bed and views of the Luberon.
Bathroom 1: between bedrooms 2 and 3, with bath, basin and a separate WC.

Très belle maison !!!
score

Lovely property in superb setting
score

Nestled amongst 3000 olive trees, this villa, along with its garden and swimming pool, is a dream come true. The lovely hosts supplied us with wonderful olive oil and fruit from their orchard. The property is less than 1 km from the veloroute and Robion, with its petits commerces and non-commercialized old village. The only slight improvement overall would be to heat the pool a bit more generously, as the cool nights take all warmth from the water.

Lovely stay in Provence
score

It was the first time we were renting in Provence and it was a lovely experience. The property was well appointed, and clean, but most of all the owners were so friendly and helpful with suggestions, directions, etc.... The garden was well taken care of as was the pool and both were so enjoyable in the hot weather. To wake up in the morning looking at the Luberon mountains in the background was a real treat. We were welcomed with organic olive oil from the family's olive grove and fresh homemade fruit confitures. Caroline's mother was so nice and brought us a homemade lemon cake one day and more of her wonderful jams. Caroline brought us some freshly picked white peaches from their orchard which were absolutely delicious. The location in the village of Robion was very convenient and easy to get to, had all the stores we needed (pharmacy, stationery/newspapers store, butcher/caterer, boulangerie, vegetable and fruit market and a local mini market). And the town of Coustellet, a short drive away, offers a huge supermarket which has everything imaginable. We enjoyed the Sunday morning farmer's market there. It is well worth visiting. Also Robion is not far from other must see villages like Menerbes, Bonnieux, Lacoste, Gordes, Isle-sur-la-Sorgue. We recommend this property for a couple of a small family.
