What we like

Location: Le Mas des Gaudres has the perfect "away from it all" feel whilst being just a short drive from the popular villages of Saint-Étienne-du-Grès and Saint-Rémy-de-Provence.
Outdoor Activities: with a large swimming pool, swing and trampoline on hand, there is plenty to keep you busy during your luxury holiday.
Layout: the children's dormitory ensures that everyone has plenty of space to relax and make the most of this charming farmhouse.

Things to note

Pool Security: the pool has a security alarm, but is not gated, so care is needed with younger children.
Water Features: there are fountains in the garden and a small canal running through the property, so young children must be supervised by an adult at all times.



Exterior

Nestled in 5 hectares of stunning Provençal scenery, Le Mas des Gaudres is perfectly secluded from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. With a gorgeous shaded terrace, outdoor dining and plenty of children's activities (swing, boules court and trampoline), this farmhouse truly has something for everyone. 

Pool

This stunning 15m x 5m swimming pool is just a stone's throw from the houses and shaded terraces. With a depth of 0.8m-1.8m and a security alarm, this pool is the perfect place to soak up the Provençal sunshine...

Interior

This has been a well-loved family home since the 1800s that has evolved over time. The interior retains the charm of yesteryear with spacious dining room, lofty ceilings and living room with library overlooking the pretty garden. The kitchen area is functional and well-equipped taken up by two rooms interlinked by a few steps.

There is one double bedroom on the ground floor with access to the garden.  A bathroom and WC are in the adjacent hallway. Up a wooden staircase above the living room is a private double bedroom with ensuite bathroom. There is a double bedroom with small shower room and separate toilet located midway up the imposing stone staircase. The dormitory style bedroom and two interlinked bedrooms are on the first floor.  This authentic 19th-century farmhouse is ideal for getting the whole family together in relaxed surroundings.

This charming farmhouse sleeps up to 12 guests in 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.

On the ground floor:
Bedroom 1: with queen-sized double bed, garden access and independent bathroom with shower, sink and WC.

On the first floor (above the library):
Bedroom 2: with queen-sized double bed and ensuite bathroom with shower, sink and WC. Bedroom 2 is accessed by an open timber staircase.

On the middle floor:
Bedroom 3: with queen-sized double bed.
This floor also has an independent bathroom with shower, sink and separate WC.

On the first floor:
Bedroom 4: with queen-sized double bed, double bed and single bed.
Bedroom 5: with double bed.
Bedroom 6: with single bed. Bedrooms 5 and 6 share an interconnecting door.

Porte des Alpilles, the village is at the crossroads of the roads going from Saint-Rémy-de-Provence to Tarascon and Arles on the one hand, from Arles to Avignon on the other. The commune covers both the northwestern part of the Alpilles and the Crau plain. Two territories with very different landscapes. This picturesque village has kept the calm, the tranquility it has always claimed.
