Things to note
Pool: The pool is alarmed for security, however it is not fenced so extra care should be taken with young children.
The 7000m square estate of Mas Rians is particularly suitable for those who need to relax, the mas, built in 1906, has been transformed into a comfortable family home for 10 people, situated on a hill and overlooking the surrounding landscape. On site you will find ancient oak trees within a mature garden, a generously sized swimming pool. Within the walled garden, next to the house, is a spacious outdoor kitchen with sink, BBQ and dining area. There are also beautiful places with views of the hilly terrain to enjoy in comfort. In the old chapel adjacent to the house you have access to a shower / toilet, washing machine and dryer, ironing board and iron

Pool
Pool rules:
All members of the tenant's company must be in possession of a swimming diploma. Children (<14 years) may only use the swimming pool under the supervision of their parents / guardians. The pool is regularly cleaned by a permanent employee of Piscine Rians. We ask you the clean the watersurface daily and to empty the skimmers daily.
Interior
Within the beautiful house there are five double rooms, with hotel beds including bed linen, towels, etc. The beds are already made on arrival. All bedrooms have their own bathroom with shower / toilet and sink. In the loft there is a large TV screen with Netflix, video player and a library of films. An extensive library with desk and internet access is at your disposal. There is a lot of information about the area around the house for planning day trips, we have already listed the best markets and best restaurants in the area for you. Downstairs in the living room there is a large collection of cookbooks, for when you get started in the extensive and well-equipped kitchen. Of course, the kitchen is equipped with all necessary equipment, oven, dishwasher, freezer, refrigerator, all kinds of cooking equipment, sufficient crockery and good glassware. There is a bar with a dishwasher, wine coolers, refrigerator etc. in the salon and the large fireplace with lounge sofas invites people to stay during the cooler spring and fall evenings.

Spacious and relaxing villa.
The house is spacious, clean, and very well-equipped with good quality items, especially the kitchen. Everything we wanted during the stay was there somewhere and it feels like the owners have gone to great lengths to anticipate every need and to meet it generously. If you can't be comfortable here then you are very difficult to please. Even with 10 guests there's always another area free, inside or outside, for anyone wanting a moment of solitude. Bedrooms are a reasonable size and all en-suite. Gardens are thoughtfully laid out with choices of outdoor eating areas, and the pool area has lots of space and loungers for relaxing. The pool itself is a good size; as it effectively has a shallow and deep section with a rapid transition then best suited to competent swimmers. Location is very private but not remote from the local village - there's a restaurant within easy walking distance and a boulangerie, supermarket, wine co-op, etc less than 5 minutes by car. It's not a strongly tourist area so while there is no shortage of things to do in the region some may require a journey of 30 minutes or more. Arrival and departure process was smooth, and the property manager was very accessible when needed for a minor query on how to use an appliance. As a group we felt we had a luxurious time there and would happily return.
Wonderful, peaceful retreat with incredible kitchen
We spent two weeks at Mas Rians. The house and grounds are fantastic. Everything was immaculate and the MANY bathrooms were crisp and new even though the house itself is old and full of charm. The perfect combination. The beds were extremely comfortable. One highlight was the well-stocked kitchen - while not large - it has everything needed to cook a wonderful meal. The house sits at the almost top of a hill with lovely views. There are many nooks to settle into and read or sip wine. Great house for a group of friends.
