Pool Security: the swimming pool is secured by an electric shutter, but young children should be supervised at all times.

Enjoy a relaxing swim in this 11m x 6m saltwater swimming pool, heated for your comfort from 15th April to 31st October every year. Surrounded by a large terrace with sun loungers and parasols, this is the perfect place to enjoy a cool glass of wine after a long day exploring the Alpilles.
Interior
On the ground floor of the main house, you will find a fully-equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar and a spacious living room with a stone fireplace. Upstairs, there are three double bedrooms of which one has an ensuite bathroom and the other two share an independent bathroom. Nearby, there is a guest house with a fourth double bedroom, ensuite bathroom and a kitchenette.

A little secret in Provence
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Mas des Papillons. Indeed we did see many butterflies. The pool was so pleasant and there is plenty of seating inside and out. We enjoyed a game of boules in the garden with a glass of local rosé. The air conditioning in the bedroom was perfect. The property is in a beautiful quite location a very short walk through little lanes to get to the small centre where you will find good restaurants and cafés including a Michelin star restaurant. The butchers is fantastic and the market on Friday is definitely worth a stroll into the centre to see. A supermarket is only a 10 min drive but you can get all you need where you are. It’s a short drive to Avignon, Marseilles and St Reimy. There is plenty to do and see. It’s very picturesque so don’t forget to charge up your camera.

We had an absolutely fabulous stay at the house. It was really authentic, well equipped and close to the charming village of Egalieres. Concierge services were faultless and our family is already discussing a return visit next summer. Maybe for two weeks!
