What we like best

Historic property: The house was built with stones from Lagnes Castle in the 18th century. Traces and impressions of this historical heritage can be found throughout the house, for example the old stone mill or the former stables, which have been turned into a secluded and cosy spot for reading and relaxing surrounded by centuries of history.
Concierge-services on site: For an extra fee you can have your daily breakfast delivered to you. There is nothing better than croissants and freshly baked Pain au chocolat next to home-made marmelades to start your day in Provence.
Village within walking distance: A five-minute walk takes you to the centre of Lagnes, where you can discover the tasty bakery, delicious restaurants, the local butcher's, and the charming little grocery shop.
Private pool: After a hot summer's day in Provence, this private pool allows you to cool off and refresh yourself.

Please note
Pool safety: The pool is surrounded by a fence, nevertheless, children should be supervised by adults at all times when nearby.
Accessibility: This historical house may not be suitable for small children or for people with reduced mobility.

Exterior

The beautiful outside area has been skillfully designed to offer you a truly excellent holiday experience. The inner courtyard is cosy and secure, surrounded by ancient stone walls, making it a characterful retreat for you to simply relax. Cool off in the pool on hot days and let yourself float for a little while, before demonstrating your culinary talents on the electric plancha and dining together with your loved ones in the courtyard. Round off a perfect day in the south of France with a glass of wine from a local vintner, while you come together outside for a relaxed chat about your adventures in Provence.

Pool

Enjoy a relaxing swim in this 6 m x 4 m private pool after a long day exploring the Luberon, or immerse yourself in a good novel, as you lie back on a sun lounger and bathe in the warm rays of the Mediterranean sun.

Interior

This 18th-century villa has been fully renovated in a traditional Provencal style with refined, antique furnishings and air conditioning throughout. In this way, the Maison stylishly combines historical charm with modern comfort. On the ground floor, the well-equipped, modern, and light kitchen and living room open onto the inner courtyard, located below the pool terrace. The rustic retreat with soft, warm lighting beneath the ancient stone vault is ideal for recovering and resting your eyes after spending time outdoors in the bright, Provencal sun. In this private, earthy corner, you can forget about the hustle and bustle of daily life, relax, and regenerate during a round of mindful meditation. The first floor accommodates a spacious double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom. In the secondary wing of the property, you will find a second double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and on the second floor a third double bedroom with its own balcony and an ensuite bathroom. The bedrooms are all light and spacious, and the entire house is imbued with an authentic, historical character with its rustic stone walls, its cooling tiles, and Provencal wooden-beam ceilings.
