What we like
Location: in the heart of the village, all restaurants, cafés, shops, bakeries, galleries and the market are within walking distance. Interior Design: fully restored with authentic materials, design and quality. All the rooms are large, decorated with exquisite taste and very comfortable. View: the magnificent terrace, without vis-à-vis, benefits from impressive views over the village, the Luberon Valley, the village of Lacoste, the Monts du Vaucluse and the Mont Ventoux.
Things to note
Bicycles: to store bicycles, there is a cellar just in front of the entrance. Children: only babies and children over 12 years old are allowed to stay at this property due to lack of pool security and risk of high drops.
Exterior
On the upper level of the terrace, you can have breakfast, an aperitif and dinner with family or friends whilst enjoying the exceptional view. Here, you are guaranteed to make lasting memories thanks to the utterly magical sunsets you will see from the north-west-facing terrace. Below, near the small plunge pool, you can relax under a green arbour in the summer lounge.
Pool
Positioned to make the most of the magnificent view of the valley, this delightful 2 x 2m plunge pool remains cool. The summer lounge and two deckchairs are on the same level to allow moments of relaxation.
Interior
This Medieval house has been tastefully renovated throughout to prioritise space and create large and comfortable rooms. The two staircases and stone walls create an atmosphere of the past, but La Maison Perchée has absolutely all the comforts in its living spaces and its three ensuite bedrooms. From the kitchen, you access a staircase in a tower which leads you up to one of the bedrooms and onto the plunge pool side terrace. The fully-equipped kitchen, with its American fridge (water and ice cubes) and its marble island, is perfect for preparing meals with your loved ones. This is an ideal place for those who want to discover the Luberon whilst being based in one of the most beautiful villages in Provence, with its terraces, shops and galleries.
Bedrooms
This lovely property sleeps up to 6 guests in 3 luxurious bedrooms all complete with air conditioning and ensuite bathrooms to maximise your comfort and peace of mind.
On the first floor: Bedroom 1: with king-sized double bed, or two single beds if preferred, views of the Mont Ventoux and ensuite bathroom with shower, sink and WC. Bedroom 1 is accessible via a private staircase in a Medieval tower. Bedroom 2: with king-sized double bed, views of the village and ensuite bathroom with shower, sink and WC. Bedroom 2 is located on a different level to Bedroom 1, and leads onto an office-library with TV and views of the Luberon.

Exceptional stay in this little corner of paradise. A spectacular view of the Bonnieux valley, Mont Ventoux and the village of Lacoste. The terrace allows you to enjoy the sunset during the aperitif. House renovated with taste and very functional, especially the kitchen which is very well equipped. Nothing to complain about the bedding. We will come back with pleasure
The old fortified village of Bonnieux is located at the top of the valley of Lourmarin and dominated by an old church. This perched Provençal village is the ideal place to discover the region by bike or on foot and benefits from an exceptional panorama which extends from the Petit Luberon to the Monts du Vaucluse and as far as Mont Ventoux.
