Cabannes - 1

Cabannes

18 kilometers from Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, Cabannes is a charming village in the Alpilles. Surrounded by cypresses, olive trees and orchards, it offers idyllic landscapes and is not far from many interesting tourist sites.

What makes this village special?

How good it is to stroll through the narrow streets of this small typical southern village! Stop in front of old houses, renovated or still in their original state, and immerse yourself in local life by taking a break in the town hall square, in the shade of the plane trees, to watch a game of pétanque or a conversation animated! Take advantage of the surrounding green countryside to recharge the batteries. As you have understood, Cabannes is a haven of peace, far from the din of the city.

But it is also the ideal starting point to explore the whole region. From the village, you can visit Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, Les Baux-de-Provence, Cavaillon or Avignon without having to travel far. The Camargue and the pretty town of Arles are also accessible, without forgetting all the villages of the Luberon: Gordes, Venasque, Ménerbes, Roussillon...
