What we like
Activities: Mas des Pins has a wonderful array of activities on offer including tennis, table tennis, billiards, darts, table football, boules and there are pleasant walking paths from the property into the scenic Alpilles forest.
Pool: enjoy a refreshing dip in the gorgeous pool, heated from March to November, and admire the stunning views to Mont Ventoux from the luxurious sunbeds on the elevated pool terrace.
Keep Cool: all five of the double bedrooms have A/C, the sixth room is a single on the ground floor and does not.
Things to note
Pool Safety: the pool is fitted with an electric security shutter, but young children should be supervised when in the pool area.
Garden: the garden is not fully fenced, so adventurous children should be supervised when outdoors.
Not Pets: unfortunately, pets are not accepted at this property under any circumstances.
Exterior
Mas des Pins is surrounded by 2,500m2 of beautiful landscaped gardens, all set on almost 3 hectares of land, nestled at the foot of the Alpilles hills. Stroll through the olive grove to the private tennis court, enjoy aperitifs and dining al fresco under wisteria-covered pergolas surrounded by roses and flowering shrubs, cool off in the gorgeous heated pool, relax on the luxurious sunbeds on either of the pool terraces and play a game of table tennis with a glass of well-chilled rosé nearby.
Pool
Stepping stones lead you across the lush lawn to the gorgeous 12m x 6m heated pool surrounded by flowering plants and paving where you can laze on the luxurious sunbeds or sip something cool around the stone table. Take a few steps up to the elevated terrace where you can enjoy stunning views to Mont Ventoux from the sunbeds on this level.
The pool can be heated from April to October for a supplement of 250 euros per week.
Interior
Tastefully decorated throughout in charming Provencal style, Mas des Pins is ideal for groups of family and friends with its spacious living room, dining area and well-equipped kitchen opening onto the large shaded terrace. Also on the ground floor, you will find two double ensuite bedrooms and a single bedroom with adjacent bathroom and a games room with darts, billiard table and table football opening onto a paved terrace where you can play table tennis or relax on the outdoor seating.
From the living room, the traditional tiled staircase leads to the air-conditioned master bedroom with large ensuite and cosy terrace with beautiful views of the garden, pool and the Alpilles forest beyond. A second wooden staircase leads you to two further air-conditioned double bedrooms with a shared family bathroom. One of these bedrooms can be connected to the master bedroom if desired. The laundry room is also on this level.

Bedroom 5: with two single beds, or one king-sized double bed if preferred, air conditioning and garden views. Bedrooms 4 and 5 can be linked through the wardrobe with double doorway to make a family suite.
Bedroom 6: with two single beds, or one king-sized double bed if preferred, air conditioning and garden views.
Bedrooms 5 and 6 share an independent bathroom with bath, overhead shower, sink and WC.

One word- FABULOUS! Our group of 6 stayed at Mas des Pins last week and it was the highlight of our European vacation. Nestled among the pines and olive trees neat a hiking trail the well manicured setting couldn't have been more gorgeous. The large well stocked kitchen was perfect for cooking and prep for our dinners on the loggia. The heated pool and sun terrace was our gathering place. Bedrooms and baths were were great. Pictures don't do this property justice. I particularly appreciated John, the manager walking us thru the property making arrival and departure seamless. We'll be back in 2023.
