Things to note
Pool: the pool has an electric cover for security but extra care should be taken with younger children.
Barn: the old farm barn, converted into a caretaker's house, is totally private. The caretakers are responsible for the maintenance of the property and for harvesting the crops. On the ground floor of the house, accessible by the courtyard, is the technical room and the central laundry room.
This 13-hectare property in the heart of The Alpilles is made up of four buildings: the bastide, the adjoining farmhouse, the tower and the barn.
Exterior
Surrounding the Bastide, you can enjoy private parking, an outdoor shower and toilet, a barbecue and a fountain. To the south of the farmhouse, you will see an inner courtyard containing an outdoor dining room and lounge, a barbecue and a 300-year-old Hackberry tree. To the north, there is a covered terrace (which is directly accessible from the rooms) with a stunning view of The Alpilles.
The star of the grounds are the olive grove, home to 2800 young olive trees, 60 truffle oaks and the Canal des Baux, and the barn which contains a vegetable garden, chicken coop and plenty of green space.
Guests should feel reassured by the comprehensive security at Mas Bernard. The property is fully fenced and outdoor areas are under video surveillance.
Pool
This wonderful property boasts a luxurious heated swimming pool of 15m x 4m.
Interior
The 260m2 farmhouse offers a fully equipped kitchen-dining room, a laundry room, independent WC, spacious 41m2 living room with 1940s bar and table and chairs for up to 16 guests in the 74m2 awning.
The 220m2 bastide boasts a 53m2 living room with open fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen with large central island, a scullery, an authentic dining room/library that seats up to 12 people, a laundry room and an independent WC.
The tower, a former 15th century post house, is accessed by a terrace adorned with roses. It offers a cosy living room and kitchen with fireplace and 2 ensuite bedrooms upstairs within the turret. Marvel at the outstanding views from the top of the tower!

The swimming pool is maintained every week and is heated from May 1st to September 30th.
From May to September, we work every day morning and evening to set up the swimming pool and tidy it up in the evening.
Concierge service and technical support of the house.
Housework included:
Low season and Christmas: 2 people for 4 hours, once a week with change of sheets and towels.
Middle and High Season: 2 people for 4 hours, twice a week with change of sheets and towels (once a week).
Depending on the needs, we can intervene more often, this service will be charged €280 (2 people for 4 hours).
