Description

Villa for rent Provence for 6 people

  1. THE "BASTIDE"

This central part of the building it's wide open position on the terraces and the swimming pool offers many possibilities for places to live together, large tables of friends and family, aperitifs and festive evenings.

Ground floor: Lounges and kitchen

Framed by bay windows, the large living room allows you to get together, comfortably installed in the two sofas, in a light bath with the feeling of being in the garden. The gaze arises and meets a bench of flowers, a tree, two, a square of grass ... overhung by blue sky. The charm of the original beams in the frame elegantly contrasts with the contemporary fireplace, enhanced with a painting inspired by Picasso. In a row and on one level, the rooms on the ground floor allow easy use of the premises. Easily imagine the movements of each, between terraces and interior, thus going joyfully from the gardens to the lounges, from the kitchen to the tables set up.

The contemporary spirit of interior design also marks the kitchen, up to its high-tech equipment. Its high table, an extension of the central plan allows you to linger and its back kitchen facilitates stewardship. A laundry room and a toilet are next to the stairs.

It is the turn of the dining room to seduce with its very colorful style. The large square table invites you to taste it. Its refined decoration leaves plenty of room for Goro's egg-head, regional painter and ceramist. His works, widely present in homes, inspire joyful dreams. The old fireplace will allow gentle outbreaks.

First floor: The three bedrooms

We now have to climb the stone staircase to access the three rooms of the Bastide. Facing south, they all enjoy a breathtaking view of the gardens and the olive grove. The gaze leads to the Camargue, revealing in passing the massive silhouette of the Abbey of Montmajour, a jewel classified as World Heritage by UNESCO and that, slender, of metal and glass, of the Luma tower signed Frank Gerhy . Their large beds are adorned with silky linen and the bathrooms are imbued with the emblematic Eau d'Orange Verte from the Hermès house. A sweetness that invites serene and intimate hours.

The master bedroom

Facing the staircase, its old parquet floors bring warmth to the minimalist atmosphere of this large room. It has its private bathroom with its toilet.

The junior room

Its neighbor, with it also its aged parquet. We overlook the lavender square, matched with the walls of a pretty powdery parma, which gives this room an infinite sweetness. The bathroom and the toilets which are allotted to him are on the landing.

The western bedroom

Carmine red walls surround his bed and extend the colors of the sun. It is indeed through the windows of his open bathroom that the rays of the sunset enter. Without doubt the most contemporary of the three bastide bedrooms.
