What we like
Space: Bastide Bernard gives you plenty of indoor and outdoor space to enjoy Provence with the people you love most.
Heated Pool: whatever the weater, you can enjoy the outdoors with the large heated pool.
Garden: nothing is more luxurious than taking a stroll through the simply stunning olive grove and barn.
Exterior
Surrounding the Bastide, you can enjoy private parking, an outdoor shower and toilet, a barbecue and a fountain. But the star of the grounds are the olive grove, home to 2800 young olive trees, 60 truffle oaks and the Canal des Baux, and the barn which contains a vegetable garden, chicken coop and plenty of green space.
Guests should also feel reassured by the comprehensive security at Bastide Bernard. The property is fully fenced and outdoor areas are under video surveillance.
Pool
Lounge around the 15m x 4m heated swimming pool, secured by an electric shutter, or enjoy an apéritif in the gorgeous outdoor kitchen.
Interior
The 220m2 bastide boasts a fully equipped kitchen with large central island, a scullery, a 53m2 living room with open fireplace, an authentic dining room/library that seats up to 12 people, a laundry room and an independent WC.
The large bay windows of the living room, with their gorgeous views of lush greenery, create the feeling of being in the garden. The charm of the original beams elegantly contrasts with the contemporary fireplace, enhanced by a Picasso-esque painting. This contemporary spirit is too felt in the technical kitchen.
Bedrooms
Upon climbing the stone staircase to reach the bedrooms, you cannot help but enjoy the breathtaking view of the gardens and olive grove. In the distance, you may notice the Carmargue and the massive silhouette of the Abbey of Montmajour, a jewel which is marked as a UNESCO World Heritage site.
On the first floor:
Bedroom 1: with king-sized double bed, flat screen TV, dressing room, Eau d'Orange Verte d'Hermès product range, heated towel rack, bathrobes, hairdryer, weighing scales and a bathroom containing walk-in shower, double sinks and toilet.
