Chêne Bleu wines are made at La Verrière, a Medieval estate perched up on the heights of the Dentelles de Montmirail, in the foothills of the legendary Mont Ventoux.

The vines of the Château have been worked by the Paumel family for several generations. The property is built on a “mourre” which in Provençale means small hill and “du tendre" reminding one of "of the tender “ meaning: the hill of love.
