Here the "Grenache" grape is king, blended into every bottle of the stunning Gigondas red wines, and into virtually every other red in the Southern Rhône appellations.

The villa has 4 en-suite bedrooms, most with views of the vineyards and village. There is a heated pool and outdoor dining space with barbecue, plus all the conveniences you could want.

From the house, you can walk into the beautiful little village of Gigondas, and eat at one of the Southern Rhône's most sought-after dining spots, or you can try some of the cafés. The owner will leave you several of the very best Gigondas wines to try. Of course, places to taste the local wines abound in the area, with Vacqueryas, Beaumes-de-Venise, Sablet, Séguret, Rasteau, the Ventoux, and Châteauneuf-du-Pape not far away.

Views from the villa are frankly quite astonishing; perched on the top of a hillside, the house provides panoramic views of the village, the ancient ramparts, the vineyards covering the hillsides, the plain.
