Perfect for spending time with family and friends

The property is absolutely amazing. A wonderfully comfortable house that is extremely well equipped. All the family and friends who came to stay had a fabulous time. Highly recommended.

Heaven in the Luberon

A lovely house in a quiet and peaceful location. Well placed for visiting all the wonderful hilltop towns and a few vineyards on the way. It is just as easy to spend a day relaxing by the pool, and in it, with the odd glass of local rose. A wonderful place to spend two weeks relaxing and enjoying the slow pace of Provencal life, even in August.

Excellent séjour

Propriété très design, bien entretenue et très pratique pour une famille avec enfants. Piscine très agréable et sécurisée. La proximité avec le centre d’Aix est en vrai plus. Propriétaires des lieux très sympatiques ainsi que les personnes en charge de l’accueil et de la logistique (entretien jardin/piscine).

Nous avons été enchantés par cette location. La maison est encore plus belle en vrai que sur les photos ! La piscine et la jacuzzi sont vraiment de très bonne taille et parfaits pour se prélasser ! À recommander sans hésiter. Nous pensons déjà y retourner.

Geweldig huis 很棒的房子

Het huis ligt op een prachtig landgoed en heeft een heerlijke tuin, waar je lekker in de schaduw kunt zitten of zonnen bij het zwembad. Het huis heeft heel veel sfeer. Voorzieningen, zoals keuken, sanitair en bedden zijn dik in orde. Het is een "feel good huis" !Het beste huis dat we ooit gehuurd hebben!

We had an idyllic holiday at Chez Cecille. It was perfect for the 5 of us (all adults) and would be perfect for a party of 8. It's all about the outdoor kitchen and pool area. Everything you could wish for was there and with the most stunning views to view from the infinity pool and indeed from anywhere outside. We chose this place based solely on Simon's (Provence Holidays) recommendation - he was absolutely right in everything he said. We would definitely use Provence Holidays again.

Dream come true

There were 16 of us all ages arriving from Wisconsin and Minnesota...none of us knew what to expect only hoped that our stay could be half as good as other reviews! We played tennis--even at night, rode bikes through the countryside of lavender, poppies and rolled bales of hay. Ate on patios, cooked fabulous meals,went to markets, sang, laughed, enjoyed all kinds of beverages, and played Marco Polo in the refreshing pool. It was perfect!!!! Thank you

A spacious period country house with many original features.

Mas Le Thor is a beautiful property. The owner has amassed a fine period collection of furnishings and fittings, and objets d'art that enhance the general ambience of the house. Complementary with these are family photos and paintings depicting the history of the house and the family who have lived there. Our stay was during a very hot period, but there were always rooms available that were cooler, and with shade. The garden is similarly impressive. In particular two very large plane trees offer much shade, as well as other sympathetic planting throughout - with a variety of trees, roses, shrubs and herbs. The website photos do not do justice to the extent of the garden. There's plenty of room for individuals in a large family to find secluded spots. We spent many hours during our two week stay in the swimming pool, which is excellent and well maintained. Helpful and efficient staff make regular visits to clean, do the laundry and change the sheets. And a gardener is also regularly on site. The staff were always very helpful if we had any queries. They were patient with our halting French, and one lady spoke excellent English.

A fantastic week in a superb location!

This was our first trip to the Luberon and we couldn't have wished for anything better. Loved touring round the countryside but we also loved just relaxing by the pool. We will definitely be back.

Fabulous Week

High on most travellers’ list of countries to visit (and revisit) is France, especially the south. We are no different and have visited the area and stayed in rental homes there on several occasions, but this find in Menerbes was our best experience yet. The Bastide de Menerbes is located at the top of the town and is an exquisitely renovated old house with stunning views of the countryside below. There are great views throughout the house from the various windows, but the best one for all to enjoy is from a spacious terrace. It is complete with dining and sitting areas, BBQ, garden, and the bonus of a plunge pool providing a great spot to immerse oneself to cool off from one’s travels with wine on the side, of course.

Two months in Lourmarin

We recently spent two months in this delightful cottage, right in the heart of one of the most beautiful villages in Provence. We had a wonderful time. The cottage itself is so cosy and warm, even during the rather cold winter this year. It is so well equipped that we wanted for nothing, and Simone's welcome glass of champagne. with Paganini playing in the background was divine. The garden is very pretty and sitting outside with a glass of wine on the warmer days was lovely. The village is welcoming and friendly, and Gaby's restaurant quickly became a favourite with us and with our family, who live in Pertuis. The surrounding area is beautiful, and we enjoyed some lovely walks. We were very sad to leave and very much hope to return next year.

Our Holiday in Provence

We had a two week holiday at this beautiful house in the summer and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. The location was perfect for exploring Provence and we were able to completely relax. The owner, Isabelle and the cleaning team were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The house is stunning, especially the master bedroom. The air conditioning very welcome. We would thoroughly recommend staying at this property and hope we will be able to spend a holiday there again.

Views of Les Alpilles from the house are breathtaking.

We knew this village was beautiful from a previous visit to the area, but we didn’t know that within easy walking distance Mas des Cedres was waiting to be found as the most perfect holiday home from which to make the most of this stunning area. Every room has been lovingly considered in minute detail so that your every need is covered. A true home away from home the Mas offers proper luxury: a perfect sized, chemical free heated pool, attractive gardens, soft towels, premium bedding, en suite bathrooms for all and perfectly silent aircon in every room for those hot Provence days. The house concierge team were amazing and genuinely wanted to help us feel welcome, supported and were always on hand if we had any questions at all. We had asked for some help stocking the refrigerator prior to arrival and every item we asked for was present and correct when to checked in. The house cleaning (twice weekly) gave that ‘hotel’ feel. So, all in, I suspect we’ll be back again and again!

Ein wunderschöner Ort für erholsame Tage

Sehr kleines, alleinstehendes, romantisches Häuschen mit einem wunderbaren Pool inmitten eines paradiesischen Gartens in schöner, ruhiger Umgebung, sehr gepflegt und trotz des engen Raums alles vorhanden, was man für einen erholsamen Urlaub braucht. Freundliche Vermieter. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Der vom Vermieter geforderte Preis war trotz Eingabe der Reisedaten deutlich höher (100%) als im Onlineangebot (für das Objekt und Saison jedoch durchaus im Rahmen) und die Ausstattungsmerkmale stimmten nicht ganz (z.B. kein Geschirrspüler, kein Moskitonetz über dem Bett). Sonst wäre das Objekt wirklich 5 Sterne wert!
