Beautiful property with breathtaking view of Gordes

The property is beautiful, with many freely accessible facilities (kitchen, common room with herbal tea bar, swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sauna...) and with a pedestrian path with a breathtaking view of Gordes allowing to be there in 10 minutes. The room + bathroom is perfectly decorated and equipped.

Stylish and comfortable place with great outdoor area

What a great place to stay for cycling Ventoux and the surrounding area. We could not have asked for more for our cycling holiday. Stylish and comfortable place with great outdoor area and pool which was essential for the recent scorching temperatures. Easy walking distance to local bars, shops and restaurants. Good secure location for bikes. Would definitely stay here again if we return.

great house, even better than it looks in photos

We would have loved to stay longer. Main room big and spacious and while we were only 4, it would be good for up to 10. Pool fantastic. With great area around it and beautiful views. Friendly welcome by Martine. Easy to walk to Lagnes. Garden is beautifully maintained and really makes a huge difference.

Absolutely Perfect

This was our second visit to Chez Cecile with our 2 grown-up children and their other halves. It did not disappoint and everything was as great as it was in 2019. The outdoor space is exceptional.

Great House and Location

We loved the house and the location. We were traveling with a baby and the house was well set up for what you need. We also liked the fact that the house had large modern appliances, from the range to the frig/freezer to the washer dryer. Pool was great and the location was perfect for visiting lots of towns and sites - or staying the quiet around the pool.

Dream Holiday house

Really lived up to expectations. Very helpful meet and greet person who quickly responded to some minor queries. Amazingly large pool which all 9 of us enjoyed. House very spacious and beautiful decor. It was extremely hot during our visit so the air con was very welcome.

Sehr schönes Haus Mycket trevligt hus

Ein wunderschöner Ort, etwas ausserhalb der Dörfer. Das Haus verspricht was auf den Fotos gezeigt wird. Viele Möglichkeiten, eine gemeinsame Zeit zu verbringen, mit genügend Rückzugsmöglichkeiten. Die Küche ist voll ausgestattet mit allem was man braucht. Ein Auto ist ein Muss, da man das Haus sonst nur sehr schwer erreicht. Jederzeit wieder.

En vacker plats, precis utanför byarna. Huset lovar det som visas på bilderna. Massor av möjligheter att spendera tid tillsammans, med gott om platser att dra sig tillbaka till. Köket är fullt utrustat med allt du behöver. En bil är ett måste, annars är det mycket svårt att nå huset. När som helst igen.

Sheer bliss in luxurious surroundings

Stunningly beautiful villa, every convenience and more supplied. Clean to the highest standard. Large bedrooms and bathrooms with exceptionally comfortable beds. Cannot emphasise strongly enough how special this villa is. Alice was very welcoming and walked us through everything perfectly

Belle maison, spacieuse et bien équipée, magnifique cuisine et chambres avec salle de bains attenantes très confortables, bonne literie. Y avons passé une agréable semaine à trois familles, chacun ayant son intimité. Superbe piscine. Seul bémol, pas de climatisation, donc chambres difficiles à rafraîchir et il faisait très très chaud! A 2 mn en voiture du village et des commerces, magnifique marché le mercredi matin.

Vackert hus, rymligt och välutrustat, underbart kök och sovrum med eget badrum, mycket bekvämt, bra sängkläder. Vi hade en härlig vecka med tre familjer, var och en med sin egen integritet. Fantastisk swimmingpool. Den enda nackdelen var att det inte fanns någon luftkonditionering, så rummen var svåra att kyla och det var väldigt, väldigt varmt! Bara 2 minuters bilresa från byn och butikerna, med en underbar marknad på onsdagsmorgnar.

Magnifique maison de charme dans une oliveraie .... Tranquillité garantie ... Très bonne situation avec les commerces et restaurants à 800 m à pied .. très belles chambres et salle de bain le tout climatisé... Coin repas sous une agréable paillasse et barbecue au gaz au top ... grande piscine chauffée ... allée de parking assez grand pour les voitures et une pétanque.. très bon accueil...

Magnifikt, charmigt hus i en olivlund .... Lugn och ro garanterad ... Mycket bra läge med affärer och restauranger 800 m bort till fots ... mycket fina sovrum och badrum alla luftkonditionerade ... Matplats under en trevlig halmmadrass och gasgrill av högsta kvalitet ... stor uppvärmd pool ... stor parkeringsplats för bilar och en petanqueområde ... mycket varmt välkomnande ...

A Villa to make Provence dreams come true En villa som gör Provence-drömmar till verklighet

10/10 on every level, this house made our vacation perfect. We were a pair of families traveling together. The Villa met all of our kid’s needs as well as our multi family needs. It was beautiful inside and out, we could’ve stayed within the property the entire time. However our goal was to travel Provence on daily trips using the Villa as home base, and we found many lovely excursions throughout Provence easy to get to and from from the house. This, in part, was made easy by the regional references provided by Provence Holidays, which were extremely helpful. We would love to visit here again.

10/10 på alla nivåer, det här huset gjorde vår semester perfekt. Vi var ett par familjer som reste tillsammans. Villan uppfyllde alla våra barns behov såväl som våra flerfamiljsbehov. Det var vackert inifrån och ut, vi kunde ha stannat inom fastigheten hela tiden. Men vårt mål var att resa Provence på dagliga resor med villan som hemmabas, och vi hittade många härliga utflykter i hela Provence lätt att komma till och från från huset. Detta underlättades delvis av de regionala referenserna som Provence Holidays tillhandahöll, vilket var till stor hjälp. Vi skulle gärna besöka här igen.

Fantastic Family Holiday

A wonderful house with every facility you could wish for. Fantastic owners who were on hand to help with any questions. It was perfect!

IDYLLIC

We had the most relaxing holiday at Chez Fannie. From the word go it all worked ….. the villa was stunning, set in the most beautiful grounds, tastefully decorated and spotless. The outdoor seating / kitchen area and pool area are well placed to wander in and out for a dip whilst enjoying something chilled under the shade of the vines, cypress & olive trees. The garden is large and perfect for children with lots to entertain them with outside. Thor is in a good location to explore the nearby Luberon, Arles and Remy de Provence, just a few of the many fabulous places! Provence Holidays were efficient, knowledgeable and helpful - thank you to you and the owners for helping to make our holiday so lovely!

Family holiday in Provence

I have no criticisms whatsoever. It was all first class

Quaint, small town in the Luberon. Unique house!

There were 3 of us (women in our 50s) who stayed in this very unique home in the side of a mountain. The plunge pool was a saving grace because it was SO HOT when we were there. Rooms had A/C units (but one didn't work so well) but the little Plunge Pool was amazing and gave us some relief. The road to the house is literally through the little town and is VERY narrow. There is free parking (for people who are renting) in the village which we did not know about until a few days into our trip. There is a parking lot outside the house but no assigned parking for the house. I'm not sure I would recommend this house for families with small kids as the road literally outside the house's main door is DIRECTLY on a road (and the cars go really fast past the house). So be very careful when opening your door and stepping outside. The little village of Menerbes was certainly charming and not filled with tourists. It was a good place to stay while day-tripping to La Coste, Bonnieux, Apt, Lourmarin, Gordes. The sunflower fields surrounding Menerbes were beautiful. The Master bedroom of the house is to die for. It is super huge (toilet and sink are up a little staircase) and the shower is in the bedroom. So it's definitely unique but so cool. The upstairs outside patio was one of our favorite places to sit at night. I would say that the kitchen amenities are not quite up to par (we ate out most times so it wasn't a huge deal), but there aren't many regular-sized spoons - like there are huge serving spoons and a small sugar spoon - but not regular spoons. This is just one example. There were ants in the kitchen (so make sure you put all food in the small fridge). It would have been difficult to make a large meal, in our opinion, with the currently provided kitchen items. But if you're eating out at the lovely restaurants nearby, then it's likely not to be a huge issue. The wifi was good if you were in the dining room or TV room on the main level. But there was limited signals in the Master Bedroom. Those would be the only things I would like to mention as part of my review.

Familienferien Semester för hela familjen

Wir haben herrliche Familienferien erlebt. Das grosszügige Haus und der riesige Garten mit Pool sind ideal für eine Familie mit unterschiedlichen Interessen. Drinnen wie draussen finden sich Rückzugsorte. Das Haus und Einrichtung entsprach exakt den Informationen.

Vi hade en underbar familjesemester. Det rymliga huset och den stora trädgården med pool är idealiska för en familj med olika intressen. Det finns platser att dra sig tillbaka på både inne och ute. Huset och inredningen motsvarade exakt den information som lämnats.

Bref, je n’aurais jamais pu trouver meilleur logements Kort sagt, jag kunde inte ha hittat ett bättre boende.

Lieux super calme, idéal pour décompresser et se reposer. La proximité du Ventoux est sans doute un atout qui convaincra nombre de clients. Mais en fait, il n’y a pas que le Ventoux, faire des randonnées à vélo vers Vénasque ou Sault est également très sympa. La possibilité d’emporter son chien est un plus inestimable, et le jardin clôturé est une sécurité. Le jardin est impeccablement entretenu, et dans un endroit où les températures peuvent monter, c’est remarquable. Au niveau logement, que demander de plus : espace, propreté, luminosité, et air-conditionnée. Bref, je n’aurais jamais pu trouver meilleur logements, surtout en dernière minutes… A conseiller aux personnes cherchant une destination en Provence pour des vacances sportives , reposantes en compagnie (ou pas) de son chien.

Fantastiskt lugnt läge, perfekt för att koppla av och varva ner. Närheten till Ventoux är utan tvekan en tillgång som kommer att övertyga många gäster. Men det är inte bara Ventoux, att cykla till Vénasque eller Sault är också mycket roligt. Möjligheten att ta med din hund är ett ovärderligt plus, och den slutna trädgården är en säkerhetsfunktion. Trädgården är oklanderligt underhållen, och på en plats där temperaturen kan stiga är det anmärkningsvärt. När det gäller boendet, vad mer kan man begära: utrymme, renlighet, ljusstyrka och luftkonditionering. Kort sagt, jag kunde inte ha hittat ett bättre boende, särskilt inte i sista minuten... Ett måste för alla som letar efter en destination i Provence för en avkopplande, sportig semester med (eller utan) sin hund.

Pure perfection

Pure perfection! We (13 people & 2x dogs) had a wonderful time from start to finish. The place is just stunning, with beautiful areas to sit inside and outside as smaller or one large group. The kitchen is well equipped with 2x dish washers (phew!) we cooked / bbq’d at home most nights bar one, when we went to a lovely restaurant just 40 mins walk away. The pool was the cherry on top with lush grass / seats / loungers and of course a fridge! It was hard to pull ourselves away from this space, but we did on occasion and visited St Remy, Gordes and Wave Island. All recommended. I would 100% recommend this place to everyone!
