For those seeking peace and isolation it is the perfect retreat

We absolutely fell in love with this place and location! Set in the heart of the Luberon, at 500 meters in the hills, for those seeking peace and isolation it is the perfect retreat. It has landscaped gardens with a lovely swimming pool. The house has been carefully designed with a contemporary feel that works well with the surroundings and with lavish interior design. Excellent internet and home furnishings to satisfy every need and make you feel at home. The owner and housekeeper are always available to help sort out practicalities at any time. Stock up at a big super market before arrival as local shopping is limited. 2 huge fridges(including ice maker) and freezer available to store everything. We have been looking for a place like this for many years and will definitely be back next year

Très beau mas Vackert gårdshus

Très beau Mas, très très bien équipé… Tout est merveilleusement organisé pour un séjour idyllique. Nous avons adoré le jardin avec ses fleurs à profusion et les options de la maison en fonction du temps : il a plu un peu et cela n’a pas été gênant car les 2 deux terrasses sont couvertes avec une plancha efficace et un barbecue pour varier les plaisirs. Magnifique maison, très grande et très spacieuse où nous avons pu apprécier la douceur de vie provençale. Nous reviendrons sans aucun doute pour un séjour plus long.

Mycket vacker Mas, mycket mycket välutrustad ... Allt är underbart organiserat för en idyllisk vistelse. Vi älskade trädgården med dess överflöd av blommor och de alternativ som finns i huset beroende på vädret: det regnade lite men det var inte ett problem eftersom de 2 terrasserna är täckta med en effektiv plancha och en grill för att variera nöjena. Magnifikt hus, mycket stort och mycket rymligt, där vi kunde uppskatta det provensalska sättet att leva. Vi kommer definitivt att komma tillbaka för en längre vistelse.

Top flight high standard villa in a great location

Mas de Fontblanche was excellent. The house and pool are at the highest standard, including quality of a/c, plumbing, kitchen, tv, furniture. The landlord is very hands-on and considerate in the best way in terms of being helpful and maintaining cleanliness, function, local advice. The location is terrific for visiting towns around Gordes.

Beautiful home in lovely location close to wonderful French town

We couldn’t have asked for a better villa and location for our holiday. We travelled with our two young children for a week, the house has all amenities and it beautifully presented. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. The house is a 5 minute walk from a charming town with lots of restaurants, bakery, butchers etc. we visited the local market on Thursday which was full of lovely french produce.

Amazing!

This is an amazing villa which delivered on every level and more! Very stylish interiors, comfortable bedrooms and living spaces indoors and outdoors, a superb kitchen with every imaginable cooking utensil, a lovely good-sized pool and and beautifully-planted outdoors area all made our stay utterly enjoyable. Maintenance is of a very high standard and our house-manager Alexandra was highly professional and responsive and made arrival and departure so easy and pleasant. The area is wonderful too, with so much to see and do within an hour’s drive. Two things to note: one bedroom does not have an en-suite WC, it is located away from the bedroom; the small study contains a small single bed for an extra occupant.

Thank you for sharing a local wine and investing in the entrepreneurship of the area! Jonathan was very responsive to all our inquiries and there at the beginning and the end. We stayed in a beautiful house on a beautiful property

We stayed in a beautiful house on a beautiful property, and on the whole everything was fabulous! My only suggestion is that the hosts warn you ahead of time that you need to bring your own towels and cleaning supplies (including trash bags) - as we were traveling from abroad, we did not know this and were blindsided. We would have happily paid an extra fee to cover these items at the house - but it caused quite a stress the first day we were there. Also, they misadvertised the airconditioning - it was only working in one room when we arrived - thankfully, it was not too hot, but it would have been unbearable to sleep there in July as there are also no fans in the rooms. Otherwise, the house was fabulous, we loved it and would go back.

A true French home in an ideal location

Our group of 16 were very comfortable and enjoyed all the house had to offer. The shady garden with its lovely pool was very welcome in the hot weather and having dinner outside on the terrace each evening was a delight. We enjoyed being within walking distance of the shops and bars in the village, a treat not to need the car all the time. However, the location was ideal for venturing further to so many places of interest and within reach of good walking.

Lovely property in superb setting

Nestled amongst 3000 olive trees, this villa, along with its garden and swimming pool, is a dream come true. The lovely hosts supplied us with wonderful olive oil and fruit from their orchard. The property is less than 1 km from the veloroute and Robion, with its petits commerces and non-commercialized old village. The only slight improvement overall would be to heat the pool a bit more generously, as the cool nights take all warmth from the water.

The villa is beautiful especially the outdoor space it is a comfortable 30 minutes walking distance from Menerbes and 10-20 minutes from Gordes Lourmarin etc . Excellent Location, spotlessly clean, very spacious, had all amenities required fabulous pool area . Great bedrooms and bathrooms no air conditioning but the house is constructed to be cool. Great courtyard and a number of rooms open out to it. I have to give a special mention to Emilie who was our house manager, we had bad weather initially and she always answered the phone no matter what the query was and is an extremely pleasant and competent person who handled everything efficiently. Our mid week clean was excellent. Also all the staff and provence holidays were extremely helpful and pleasant from booking to concierge. All of their recommendations were successful. We would return and we would use Provence holidays again.

Jag måste ge ett särskilt omnämnande till Emilie som var vår huschef, vi hade dåligt väder i början och hon svarade alltid på telefonen oavsett vad frågan var och är en extremt trevlig och kompetent person som hanterade allt effektivt. Vår städning i mitten av veckan var utmärkt. Även all personal och provence helgdagar var extremt hjälpsamma och trevliga från bokning till concierge. Alla deras rekommendationer var framgångsrika. Vi skulle återvända och vi skulle använda Provence helgdagar igen.

Breathtaking property Fantastisk fastighet

I'm not one to usually write a review. If you want to experience Provence in style and charm, this property would not come highly recommended enough. From the introduction to the property by management, the flow and way the property works, modern inside whilst keeping the style and theme of Provencial living, with exquisite decor and interior design, immaculately kept inside and out. The various areas of the property are amazing and exceeded our expectations including wonderful outdoor terraces for family meals, front court yard for quiet reading and writing, spacious bedrooms, pool and BBQ area and olive groves in the garden. It was all exquisite and top notch. The photos that we took don't do it justice. The landscaping and attention to detail and gardens is great. Great for large families or small ones (we have 3 young kids) and wish we had brought family and friends to share the experience with us. But it also did not feel surplus to our needs. Very comfortable for us as a discerning professional family who like quality. But the best thing about our experience was enjoying the proximity to all that the Luberon has to offer. The views were breathtaking including on the balcony off the master bedroom. The way the light hits the valley below is something special. It was restful and professionally operated. Spend your money here. It is worth it!

Från introduktionen till fastigheten av ledningen, flödet och hur fastigheten fungerar, modern inuti samtidigt som man håller stilen och temat för Provencial living, med utsökt inredning och inredning, obefläckat hållen inifrån och ut. De olika områdena i fastigheten är fantastiska och överträffade våra förväntningar, inklusive underbara utomhusterrasser för familjemåltider, gårdsplan för tyst läsning och skrivning, rymliga sovrum, pool och grillplats och olivlundar i trädgården. Det var allt utsökt och toppklass. De foton som vi tog gör det inte rättvisa. Landskapsarkitekturen och uppmärksamheten på detaljer och trädgårdar är stor. Perfekt för stora familjer eller små (vi har 3 små barn) och önskar att vi hade tagit med familj och vänner för att dela upplevelsen med oss. Men det kändes inte heller överflödigt för våra behov. Mycket bekvämt för oss som en kräsen professionell familj som gillar kvalitet. Men det bästa med vår upplevelse var att njuta av närheten till allt som Luberon har att erbjuda. Utsikten var hisnande, inklusive på balkongen utanför sovrummet. Det sätt som ljuset träffar dalen nedanför är något speciellt. Det var vilsamt och professionellt drivet. Spendera dina pengar här. Det är värt det!

Beautiful grounds and French bastide Vacker tomt och fransk bastid

We were very pleased to revisit this traditional french house with friends and our grandchildren after postponement due to covid. We believe we were the first group in so a few hitches with pool alarm and losing power during a storm. Help from the family and particularly Simon, with local knowledge, sorted these things out. This house is so charming and housed us so well, it is very spacious. The kitchen has everything you need (although some more cups would have been nice) and we cooked in quite a lot as we were such a large group. For me the highlight is the gardens, if only you could bottle the beautiful aromas that you smell as you open the shutters in the morning, jasmine, honeysuckle and mature trees, olive and lombardy poplar or cypress? providing shade and perfume. Fabulous pool, well looked after by the pool lady who visited on Tuesday. Lots of tables to chose from outside for your morning coffee. We walked into St Didier easily and some of us walked up to Venasque, its a bit of a hike up, but we had a lovely lunch in one of the village restaurants afterwards overlooking the stunning view across to the hills.

Vi var mycket glada över att återbesöka detta traditionella franska hus med vänner och våra barnbarn efter uppskjutning på grund av covid. Vi tror att vi var den första gruppen i så några problem med poollarm och att förlora strömmen under en storm. Hjälp från familjen och särskilt Simon, med lokal kunskap, sorterade ut dessa saker. Detta hus är så charmigt och inrymde oss så bra, det är mycket rymligt. Köket har allt du behöver (även om några fler koppar skulle ha varit trevliga) och vi lagade mat ganska mycket eftersom vi var en så stor grupp. För mig är höjdpunkten trädgårdarna, om du bara kunde flaskan de vackra dofterna som du luktar när du öppnar fönsterluckorna på morgonen, jasmin, kaprifol och mogna träd, oliv och lombardy poppel eller cypress? ger skugga och parfym. Fabulous pool, väl omhändertagen av pooldamen som besökte på tisdag. Massor av bord att välja mellan utanför för ditt morgonkaffe. Vi gick lätt in i St Didier och några av oss gick upp till Venasque, det är lite av en vandring upp, men vi hade en härlig lunch i en av byns restauranger efteråt med utsikt över den fantastiska utsikten över kullarna.

Perfect villa for family vacation!

I am so happy to leave a glowing review for this villa! We stayed for two weeks in late May and early June with family and friends and had a wonderful time. The home is beautifully appointed with every convenience you could want, and the outdoor living and pool area were a beautiful extension of the home. We were able to take easy day trips and also cook together in the evenings. I cannot think of a single thing we did not enjoy. The Concierge service was so helpful and delivered groceries and wine that were in place when we arrived. Any questions were answered promptly by Provence Holidays and by Carine, our property manager. We made memories for a lifetime!
