Special villa in a glorious setting

We loved every minute of our holiday in this beautiful villa. The house is wonderfully situated with stunning views and brilliant outdoor areas including the pool. Sympathetically restored to provide every modern convenience whilst retaining its character. Lovely clean rooms with comfy beds. Nice and cool in the house despite high summer temperatures. We particularly loved the pool table room - a great way to have fun out of the heat.

Formidable!

Thank you so much for letting us borrow this little corner of paradise for a week. The history, setting, gardens and position of this beautiful French house is just perfect. We arrived a week ago after a busy time traveling Northern Spain so have taken the opportunity to just relax and enjoy the house pool, sound of crickets, smells of lavender and thyme to just ultimately relax. We will be back for sure. Au revoir!

Très belle maison !!! Jardin, terrasses et piscine magnifiques! Grand salon et cuisine très bien équipée. Maison très fonctionnelle, idéale pour une famille. Seul bémol, peut-être la proximité des chambres si on y va entre amis… Et situation géographique idéale pour découvrir la région. Je recommande vivement !!!

Casa linda!!! Magnífico jardim, terraços e piscina! Grande sala de estar e cozinha muito bem equipada. Casa muito funcional, ideal para uma família. Único senão, talvez a proximidade dos quartos se for com amigos... Localização ideal para descobrir a região. Recomendo vivamente!

Heel mooi, proper! Muito bonito, limpo!

Heel mooi, proper huis. Alle voorzieningen waren aanwezig. Heel fijn onthaal, steeds goed te woord gestaan bij vragen. We hadden een hele fijne reis met onze 2 kinderen (3 jaar en 1 jaar). De bbq aan het zwembad was heel leuk, ook de muziekvoorzieningen waren een meerwaarde. Het was tip top in orde!

Casa muito agradável e limpa. Todas as comodidades estavam presentes. Muito bem recebidos, sempre muito prestáveis para as perguntas. Fizemos uma viagem muito agradável com os nossos 2 filhos (3 anos e 1 ano). O churrasco à beira da piscina era muito agradável e as instalações musicais eram uma mais-valia. Tudo estava em ordem!

Wonderful stay in modern, comfortable property

We spent a week in the property and could have easily used another. The physical space is magnificent, with high-end finishes and thoughtful details throughout. The bedrooms are more private, comfortable (and importantly, cool) than many others we have encountered. The location has immediately accessible grocery, bakery and a restaurant within seconds walking time. The location also benefits greatly from being within 60 minutes of innumerable charming villages, with Avignon more than close enough to pop in for dinner then back 'home'. It's a special property that would suited our family very well.

Lovely house Mas des Amandes

The house is in a central location in the village with restaurants and shops within short walking distance. The house is spacious and tastefully decorated with all necessities provided for a pleasant stay. The pool is lovely and gated parking is a plus. It is useful to note that the third bedroom is on the ground floor with direct access to its own little courtyard. The housekeeper was very helpful and responsive to questions.

A casa situa-se numa localização central na aldeia, com restaurantes e lojas a uma curta distância a pé. A casa é espaçosa e decorada com bom gosto, dispondo de tudo o que é necessário para uma estadia agradável. A piscina é encantadora e o parque de estacionamento vedado é uma vantagem. É importante referir que o terceiro quarto fica no rés-do-chão, com acesso direto ao seu próprio pequeno pátio. A governanta foi muito prestável e atenciosa às nossas perguntas.

Ultimate Bliss!

We have loved our week long stay in possibly the chicest house in France. The property is to beautiful and well equipped we spent most of our warm days by the pool, wandering into town for laid back dinners. As a group with four children we recommend - Bistro « Les Pieds dans l'Eau ». We took a day trip into Arles which is highly recommended. The St Rémy Wednesday market was also fantastic and worth an early start! Thank you Provence Holidays we'll be back.

We've had two unforgettable holidays at this stunning property near Seillans. The house itself is spacious, beautifully appointed, and ideal for both a family gathering or a group of friends. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, from the luxurious furnishings to the beautifully landscaped gardens. The outdoor spaces are the real highlight — a gorgeous pool set amidst lush greenery, a fully equipped outdoor kitchen ideal for long, leisurely meals, and plenty of seating areas to soak up the Provençal sun. There’s also no shortage of things to do at the house itself, with a ping pong table, a cinema room, and plenty of space to unwind. While the home feels private and secluded, it's also conveniently close to local supermarkets and restaurants, making it easy to stock up or head out for a meal. The location is also ideal for exploring the wider region — Seillans itself is a picturesque village, and you’re surrounded by some of the most beautiful hilltop villages and towns in the South of France. Whether you’re out exploring or staying in, this house offers the perfect base for a relaxing and luxurious getaway in a truly special part of the world. Highly recommended — we can’t wait to return!

Passámos duas férias inesquecíveis nesta propriedade deslumbrante perto de Seillans. A casa em si é espaçosa, muito bem decorada e ideal para uma reunião familiar ou um grupo de amigos. Todos os pormenores foram cuidadosamente pensados, desde o mobiliário luxuoso aos jardins paisagísticos. Os espaços exteriores são o verdadeiro destaque - uma piscina deslumbrante no meio de uma vegetação luxuriante, uma cozinha exterior totalmente equipada, ideal para refeições longas e descontraídas, e muitas áreas de estar para aproveitar o sol provençal. Também não há falta de coisas para fazer na própria casa, com uma mesa de pingue-pongue, uma sala de cinema e muito espaço para descontrair. Embora a casa pareça privada e isolada, também está convenientemente perto de supermercados e restaurantes locais, facilitando o abastecimento ou a saída para uma refeição. A localização também é ideal para explorar a região em geral - Seillans é uma aldeia pitoresca e está rodeada por algumas das mais belas aldeias e cidades no topo de colinas do Sul de França. Quer esteja a explorar ou a ficar em casa, esta casa oferece a base perfeita para uma escapadela relaxante e luxuosa numa parte verdadeiramente especial do mundo. Wonderful Stay

Thank you, we had a wonderful stay at your beautiful house and loved discovering this unspoilt and special place. Highlights for us: Lots of time in the pool Long lunches and dinners under the oak tree Local markets, especially Die Amazing bike ride over the hill to Montbrand and lovely valley Daring drive up to the ridge above Aspres - worth it for those with appropriate car! We hope to be back again soon

Absolutely beautiful French country house. Very beautiful interiors but the garden and pool are really the crown jewel. Lots of places to sit and relax. It may not be clear but there is a bedroom in the pool house which is a separate structure. Out teenage boys enjoyed having their own space out there. This is a great place for a big group. We had two families of 5.

An absolutely brilliant holiday! Umas férias absolutamente fantásticas!

We’ve just returned from the most amazing 2 weeks in Provence! The concierge was there to greet us and we also met the owners of the villa who are truly lovely. They were so helpful with suggestions for things to do in the area. The Concierge was also always on hand via WhatsApp for any queries we had. We pre ordered some groceries which were waiting for us in the villa. The villa itself was beautiful, fresh and perfectly laid out. The whole house and outside areas were so impressive, flowed so well and suited us as a family to have pool time/chill time out of the sun. House impeccably finished. We absolutely loved it! Gordes is a very short drive away and plenty of cobbled streets to explore. Some lovely shops with pretty dresses, hats galore, salts and oils and lavender. Looked around the castle. Market day on Tuesdays. An absolutely brilliant holiday!

Acabámos de regressar de duas semanas incríveis na Provença! O concierge estava lá para nos receber e também conhecemos os proprietários da villa, que são verdadeiramente encantadores. Foram muito prestáveis com sugestões sobre o que fazer na região. O concierge também esteve sempre disponível através do WhatsApp para esclarecer quaisquer dúvidas que tivéssemos. Encomendámos antecipadamente alguns produtos alimentares que estavam à nossa espera na villa. A villa em si era linda, arejada e perfeitamente disposta. Toda a casa e as áreas exteriores eram impressionantes, combinavam na perfeição e eram ideais para nós, enquanto família, para aproveitarmos a piscina e relaxarmos ao abrigo do sol. A casa apresentava acabamentos impecáveis. Adorámos mesmo! Gordes fica a uma curta distância de carro e tem imensas ruas de calçada para explorar. Há lojas encantadoras com vestidos bonitos, chapéus em abundância, sais, óleos e lavanda. Demos uma vista de olhos pelo castelo. O dia de mercado é às terças-feiras. Foram umas férias absolutamente fantásticas!

Wow... Just: wow!!! Uau... Apenas: uau!!!

Dit huis is onbeschrijfelijk mooi... We kwamen hier om het vijftigjarige jubileum van mijn ouders te vieren en waren daardoor met een groep met leeftijden tussen 5 en 75 jaar oud. En we hebben allemaal enorm genoten!! We brachten onze dagen grotendeels in en rondom het zwembad door, de overdekte zijde - met chillbanken, grote tafel en buitenkeuken - maken dat perfect mogelijk. Met niet te vergeten een weergaloos uitzicht waar we geen genoeg van konden krijgen... Het zwembad was groot genoeg om alle kleinkinderen (tussen de 5 en 16 jaar oud) naar hartelust te laten plonsen en spelen. De kamers in het huisje bij het zwembad waren wel warm maar verder perfect voor alle kinders (de mooie slaapkamers in het hoofdhuis zonder airco toch goed te doen ondanks de hitte buiten!). De tennisbaan (s avonds verlicht!) is ook volop gebruikt. Echt, het was een topvakantie voor ons allemaal!

Esta casa é de uma beleza indescritível Viemos cá para festejar os 50 anos dos meus pais e fomos portanto com um grupo com idades compreendidas entre os 5 e os 75 anos. E todos nós nos divertimos imenso!!! Passámos a maior parte dos nossos dias na piscina e à volta dela, sendo que a parte coberta - com sofás de relaxamento, mesa grande e cozinha ao ar livre - torna isso perfeitamente possível. Já para não falar da vista inigualável de que não nos fartámos.... A piscina era suficientemente grande para que todos os netos (entre os 5 e os 16 anos) pudessem chapinhar e brincar à vontade. Os quartos da casa de campo junto à piscina eram quentes, mas perfeitos para todos os miúdos (os belos quartos da casa principal, sem ar condicionado, continuavam a ser bons, apesar do calor que se fazia sentir lá fora!) O campo de ténis (iluminado à noite!) também foi utilizado ao máximo. A sério, foram umas férias de topo para todos nós!

We absolutely loved our week in Provence Adorámos imenso a nossa semana no Chez Christelle.

We were warmly greeted by the property owner and happily told to text her if we needed anything. We didn't need to. The house is a beautiful, spacious 18th Century treasure trove and is the real provençal dream. It's full of old furniture and art and has been in the family for generations. If you are looking for a fully modernised, shiny, soulless place, this isn't for you. But the kitchen is fully modernised and well equipped, the bathrooms are fine and the beds are comfortable. The gardens are enormous with a beautiful olive grove, great pool, enough seating for everyone and lots of fun to be had at the boulodrôme and playing table tennis. St Didier is a sweet village with two bakeries, bars and everything you need. One of the bakeries made us an unbelievable chocolate cake for a birthday. Provence Holidays and the owner were a pleasure to deal with. Thank you from us all. It was very special indeed. If you're looking for Quiet & Peace, this is your place.

Fomos calorosamente recebidos pela proprietária, que nos disse, com simpatia, para lhe enviarmos uma mensagem se precisássemos de alguma coisa. Não foi necessário. A casa é um belo e espaçoso tesouro do século XVIII e representa o verdadeiro sonho provençal. Está repleta de mobiliário antigo e obras de arte e pertence à família há várias gerações. Se procura um local totalmente modernizado, reluzente e sem alma, este não é para si. Mas a cozinha está totalmente modernizada e bem equipada, as casas de banho são boas e as camas são confortáveis. Os jardins são enormes, com um belo olival, uma excelente piscina, espaço suficiente para todos se sentarem e muita diversão garantida no boulodrôme e a jogar ténis de mesa. St Didier é uma aldeia encantadora, com duas padarias, bares e tudo o que é necessário. Uma das padarias preparou-nos um bolo de chocolate incrível para um aniversário. Foi um prazer lidar com a Provence Holidays e com o proprietário. Obrigado de parte de todos nós. Foi realmente muito especial. Se procura tranquilidade e paz, este é o lugar ideal para si.

Very nice house with a lot of atmosphere

Very nice house with a lot of atmosphere, e.g. a 500 year old vaulted ceiling in the living room. The kitchen and dining area inside/outside are very successful, well equipped and make every day a lot of fun. The pool is gorgeous. The neighborhood is quiet and well-kept. In the village everything is within walking distance. There are numerous restaurants and bars on the church square. There are small shops on the main street. The proximity to Les Baux is also great. In 5 minutes you are there and can enjoy a wonderful view at sunset.

Everything was excellent - the agency, our host on site, the accommodation, the village, the restaurants, the area. 100% recommend.

Lovely place

This villa is charming and well appointed. Although not all rooms are air-conditioned we were never too hot, as the mornings and evenings cooled off quickly and we were gone during the hottest parts of the day. The pictures and descriptions reflected exactly what we found upon arrival. A lovely place to use as a home base for exploring the french countryside and villages.

Paradise found! Encontrei o paraíso!

We stayed for one week in this beautiful property: two families from Vancouver Canada and had the most relaxing and memorable stay. Warm winds, lazy days spent by the perfect pool, surrounded by gorgeous trees and gardens. The house was very well appointed with plenty of space for six travelers, excellent kitchen with all the modern amenities and extremely comfortable bedrooms. A special thank you to our house concierge who was so pleasant and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort and happiness. We thoroughly enjoyed Saint Rémy and surrounding areas, on E-BIKES which we highly recommend as a fun day out, the Wednesday market and a private wine Tour of Château-Neuf-du-Pape. Plenty on offer for those that want to keep busy and a private and beautiful home for those that wish for lazy days lounging. This was the perfect holiday for our two families and we cannot wait to book again with Provence Holidays. Sincere thanks to all for a beautiful time in this most amazing property.

Ficámos uma semana nesta belíssima propriedade: duas famílias de Vancouver, no Canadá, e tivemos uma estadia extremamente relaxante e memorável. Ventos amenos, dias tranquilos passados junto à piscina perfeita, rodeados por árvores e jardins deslumbrantes. A casa estava muito bem equipada, com espaço de sobra para seis hóspedes, uma cozinha excelente com todas as comodidades modernas e quartos extremamente confortáveis. Um agradecimento especial ao nosso concierge, que foi tão simpático e prestável, indo além do esperado para garantir o nosso conforto e felicidade. Apreciámos imenso Saint-Rémy e os arredores, em bicicletas elétricas (E-BIKES), que recomendamos vivamente como uma divertida saída, o mercado de quarta-feira e uma visita privada às vinhas de Château-Neuf-du-Pape. Há muito para fazer para quem quer manter-se ocupado e uma casa privada e linda para quem deseja dias de descanso e descontração. Foram as férias perfeitas para as nossas duas famílias e mal podemos esperar para voltar a reservar com a Provence Holidays. Os nossos sinceros agradecimentos a todos por um tempo maravilhoso nesta propriedade incrível.

A beautiful and welcoming villa

We spent a week here in these gentle surroundings with our extended family and would love to return. The pool is great, and the gardens are a perfect foil for the big house. Big comfortable beds and a well-stocked kitchen. A lovely sense of privacy but close to adventures (canoeing's a plus!) and a range of walks and wineries.

We spent a wonderful week. The house is clean, well stocked with crockery and has high end appliances. The beds are comfortable, the showers lovely and the swimming pool is fantastic. Great outside spaces with wonderful gardens. A great base for visiting the region - we went as far as the Carmague and Orange without difficulty. A car is essential and given its on a hill some of the roads are narrow with tight bends. We wished we could stay !

Passámos uma semana maravilhosa. A casa está limpa, bem equipada com louça e dispõe de eletrodomésticos de alta qualidade. As camas são confortáveis, os chuveiros são ótimos e a piscina é fantástica. Excelentes espaços exteriores com jardins maravilhosos. Um excelente ponto de partida para visitar a região — fomos até à Camargue e a Orange sem qualquer dificuldade. É essencial ter carro e, como fica numa colina, algumas das estradas são estreitas e têm curvas apertadas. Quem nos dera poder ficar mais tempo!
