Holiday with Children
This is an absolutely exquisite home, tastefully decorated and comfortable for a group. It is completely private, and quite a piece of property with fruit trees, gorgeous old plane trees and mature landscaping. The kids loved running around the expansive fields! The pool is something out of architectural digest—enormous. We enjoyed cooking outside on the plancha so much so my husband looked up the company so we can buy one to be sent to us in the US. The windows and views of the property are dramatic. The restoration was thoughtful and kept many charming elements, including what looks like maybe an old trough for horses or cattle that is now used as a book shelf. The home is very large and includes 3 bedrooms on one far side of the home over 3 floors. There is a studio as the listing mentions closer to the kitchen side of the home on the 3rd floor that is accessed by a circular metal staircase. We didn’t feel comfortable with our children using this staircase or with the railing in the studio for safety reasons, so consider that when booking. It’s closed off with a door so it wasn’t much of an issue. There are 3 other rooms to choose from for the smaller kids. The description of the home is pretty accurate, but you should also know that it appears a section of the home where possibly a master bedroom/bathroom are located is locked off for guests. As such all of the bedrooms are of similar size with queen beds, but each has their own bathroom which is nice for groups. Overall this is a magical home. Very happy we had a chance to experience Provence staying here. It provided a good base for exploration of many sights but was also very close to amenities making it easy. We walked to dinner one night and could quickly pick up most anything we needed in the village. It is also hard to leave the property because it’s just so beautiful—why go anywhere? Everyone was very helpful and always accessible. We appreciated their help.
A Villa to make Provence dreams come true
10/10 on every level, this house made our vacation perfect. We were a pair of families traveling together. The Villa met all of our kid’s needs as well as our multi family needs. It was beautiful inside and out, we could’ve stayed within the property the entire time. However our goal was to travel Provence on daily trips using the Villa as home base, and we found many lovely excursions throughout Provence easy to get to and from from the house. This, in part, was made easy by the regional references provided by Provence Holidays, which were extremely helpful. We would love to visit here again.
Séjour d'environ une semaine
Séjour de quelques nuits Merveilleux séjour entre amis et enfants. Situé dans écrin exceptionnel, vert, paisible et à la fois proche des commerces du village d’Entraigues, cette maison rassemble tous les critères pour un séjour réussi ! Seulement 10 minutes de marche pour accéder au village et à 20 minutes en voiture de L’Isle Sur la Sorgue. La décoration est de bon goût, sobre et authentique: murs en pierres, meubles chinés et esprit bohème, bref ce que l’on recherche comme cadre de vacances. La maison reste toujours fraîche profitant de l’ombre des platanes et cyprès tout en accueillant le soleil au bord de la sublime piscine. La literie très confortable et l’atmosphère calme du lieu en font un cocktail parfait pour se ressourcer. Enfin la maison, au delà d’être parfaitement agencée est fonctionnelle et bien équipée. Tout ce dont on a besoin est à disposition. Encore M.E.R.C.I
