Holiday with Children Vakantie met kinderen

This is an absolutely exquisite home, tastefully decorated and comfortable for a group. It is completely private, and quite a piece of property with fruit trees, gorgeous old plane trees and mature landscaping. The kids loved running around the expansive fields! The pool is something out of architectural digest—enormous. We enjoyed cooking outside on the plancha so much so my husband looked up the company so we can buy one to be sent to us in the US. The windows and views of the property are dramatic. The restoration was thoughtful and kept many charming elements, including what looks like maybe an old trough for horses or cattle that is now used as a book shelf. The home is very large and includes 3 bedrooms on one far side of the home over 3 floors. There is a studio as the listing mentions closer to the kitchen side of the home on the 3rd floor that is accessed by a circular metal staircase. We didn’t feel comfortable with our children using this staircase or with the railing in the studio for safety reasons, so consider that when booking. It’s closed off with a door so it wasn’t much of an issue. There are 3 other rooms to choose from for the smaller kids. The description of the home is pretty accurate, but you should also know that it appears a section of the home where possibly a master bedroom/bathroom are located is locked off for guests. As such all of the bedrooms are of similar size with queen beds, but each has their own bathroom which is nice for groups. Overall this is a magical home. Very happy we had a chance to experience Provence staying here. It provided a good base for exploration of many sights but was also very close to amenities making it easy. We walked to dinner one night and could quickly pick up most anything we needed in the village. It is also hard to leave the property because it’s just so beautiful—why go anywhere? Everyone was very helpful and always accessible. We appreciated their help.

Dit is een absoluut voortreffelijk huis, smaakvol ingericht en comfortabel voor een groep. Het is volledig privé en een behoorlijk stuk grond met fruitbomen, prachtige oude platanen en een volwassen landschap. De kinderen vonden het heerlijk om door de uitgestrekte velden te rennen! Het zwembad is iets buiten architectonisch opzicht: enorm. We vonden het zo leuk om buiten op de plancha te koken dat mijn man het bedrijf heeft opgezocht, zodat we er een kunnen kopen die naar ons in de VS kan worden verzonden. De ramen en het uitzicht op het pand zijn dramatisch. De restauratie was doordacht en er zijn veel charmante elementen behouden, waaronder wat lijkt op een oude trog voor paarden of vee die nu als boekenplank wordt gebruikt. Het huis is erg groot en beschikt over 3 slaapkamers aan de ene kant van het huis, verdeeld over 3 verdiepingen. Er is een studio, zoals de advertentie vermeldt, dichter bij de keukenzijde van het huis op de 3e verdieping, die toegankelijk is via een ronde metalen trap. We voelden ons om veiligheidsredenen niet op ons gemak als onze kinderen deze trap gebruikten of met de balustrade in de studio, dus houd daar rekening mee bij het boeken. Het is afgesloten met een deur, dus het was niet echt een probleem. Voor de kleinere kinderen zijn er nog 3 andere kamers om uit te kiezen. De beschrijving van het huis is behoorlijk accuraat, maar u moet er ook rekening mee houden dat het lijkt alsof een gedeelte van het huis, waar zich mogelijk een hoofdslaapkamer/badkamer bevindt, afgesloten is voor gasten. Als zodanig zijn alle slaapkamers van vergelijkbare grootte en hebben ze queensize bedden, maar ze hebben allemaal een eigen badkamer, wat leuk is voor groepen. Over het algemeen is dit een magisch huis. Erg blij dat we de kans hadden om de Provence hier te ervaren. Het bood een goede uitvalsbasis voor het verkennen van vele bezienswaardigheden, maar het was ook heel dicht bij voorzieningen, waardoor het gemakkelijk was. We liepen op een avond naar het avondeten en konden snel bijna alles ophalen wat we nodig hadden in het dorp. Het is ook moeilijk om het pand te verlaten omdat het zo mooi is. Waarom ergens heen gaan? Iedereen was zeer behulpzaam en altijd bereikbaar. Wij waardeerden hun hulp.

A Villa to make Provence dreams come true

10/10 on every level, this house made our vacation perfect. We were a pair of families traveling together. The Villa met all of our kid’s needs as well as our multi family needs. It was beautiful inside and out, we could’ve stayed within the property the entire time. However our goal was to travel Provence on daily trips using the Villa as home base, and we found many lovely excursions throughout Provence easy to get to and from from the house. This, in part, was made easy by the regional references provided by Provence Holidays, which were extremely helpful. We would love to visit here again.
