Sentier des Ocres

Trail in the old open pit quarries with their "blood and gold" cliffs. Visit of 30 to 60 mn according to the chosen route. Site accessible from mid-February to end of December, 7 days a week.
Genuine geological curiosity, careers with multiple natural colors, help to make Roussillon one of the most renowned sites of the Luberon. You can walk in the middle of this true multicolored labyrinth following the explanatory panels on the formation and exploitation of these famous ocher quarries.
Ticket coupled with the visit of the Ocher Conservatory which is located a little further in the village. So you follow the ocher route, from its extraction to its transformation into a manufactured product (visit of the old factory with its basins, workshops, ovens... shop and library)
