Located on the ridges of the Luberon, the trail of the cedar forest lets you discover a 150 year old cedar, oak groves, lawns and Mediterranean garrigues.

Visit this remarkable site on the ridges of the Luberon and discover a 150 year old cedar, oak groves, lawns and Mediterranean garrigues. From the Portalas lookout you can take in the magnificent views, dominating the lower valley of the Durance.

The trail was made with more than 60 m3 of wood from the cedar forest, built as part of the management of the forest by the NFB and transformed by local companies. It has been equipped to accommodate people with reduced mobility, giving everyone the opportunity to visit this splendid place.

This project makes it possible to highlight the natural heritage of Vaucluse and to allow everyone to discover the richness and beauty of its biodiversity. This is especially thanks to five educational and play areas located along the route.
