You have a wonderful house - we absolutely loved it! The pool area was a massive hit and we spent most of our time there - the kids had a great time. The owner of Lou Cigalon was so friendly - we ended up eating there 3 times

Perfect place to unwind and relax.

Viens is an unspoilt rural village with a delicious bakery and friendly locals. The tranquility of the Villa helped us all to unwind, relax and enjoy spending time together as a family. It was a treat to have the Villa cleaned and bedding changed during our stay, and the local knowledge of Johanne was welcomed. Would highly recommend to others, just remember the mosquito spray as they come out in force as soon as the sun starts to set.

Perfect family location with plenty personal space

We had a perfect family holiday here for two weeks. The owners were very welcoming and keen that all would be right for us. Cleaning provided midway. The grounds are large and we had full access. The pool a delight and used constantly. Highly recommend this villa. Would love to be able to revisit.

A perfect rural French retreat

A villa and pool maintained to a very high standard with a lovely welcome pack on arrival. Conveniently located - a 20 minute walk to Pernes with all amenities including at least 5 bread shops and several good restaurants. Staff came in daily to clear rubbish and maintain pool - all were delightful and promptly sorted out any minor problems we encountered. I have no hesitation in recommending this villa and it's location. Baking hot during our 2 week stay with most days 35 degrees + so did not explore as much as we may have liked but A/C and pool a blessing

Holiday with Children

This is an absolutely exquisite home, tastefully decorated and comfortable for a group. It is completely private, and quite a piece of property with fruit trees, gorgeous old plane trees and mature landscaping. The kids loved running around the expansive fields! The pool is something out of architectural digest—enormous. We enjoyed cooking outside on the plancha so much so my husband looked up the company so we can buy one to be sent to us in the US. The windows and views of the property are dramatic. The restoration was thoughtful and kept many charming elements, including what looks like maybe an old trough for horses or cattle that is now used as a book shelf. The home is very large and includes 3 bedrooms on one far side of the home over 3 floors. There is a studio as the listing mentions closer to the kitchen side of the home on the 3rd floor that is accessed by a circular metal staircase. We didn’t feel comfortable with our children using this staircase or with the railing in the studio for safety reasons, so consider that when booking. It’s closed off with a door so it wasn’t much of an issue. There are 3 other rooms to choose from for the smaller kids. The description of the home is pretty accurate, but you should also know that it appears a section of the home where possibly a master bedroom/bathroom are located is locked off for guests. As such all of the bedrooms are of similar size with queen beds, but each has their own bathroom which is nice for groups. Overall this is a magical home. Very happy we had a chance to experience Provence staying here. It provided a good base for exploration of many sights but was also very close to amenities making it easy. We walked to dinner one night and could quickly pick up most anything we needed in the village. It is also hard to leave the property because it’s just so beautiful—why go anywhere? Everyone was very helpful and always accessible. We appreciated their help.

Beautifully designed with a stunning pool

We had a really wonderful time at Valerie's lovely home in Gordes. It's the perfect spot to use as a base for exploring the Luberon. The house is very spacious and comfortable, particularly with A/C in the summer. It's beautifully designed and furnished, with everything that you need for a stay. The best part was the pool. Valerie was very kind, helpful, and easy to communicate with. She gave great recommendations about what to do in the area. We weren't able to do all of them because of our shorter stay there, but I hope that if she keeps renting out this house, we'll be able to come back again one day for a longer stay!

Fantastic property and supportive staff

Fantastic property which is even better than what is shown and described on the advert. Staff (Nathalie, Michel) is very kind and supportive, also appreciated all the advice and support we received from the property manager. Perfect place, thanks we could stay there!

This house and property is fabulous! The pictures don't do it justice. We had kids with us and they loved the pool. The location can't be beat - a short walk or bike ride to everything: the grocery store, butcher, fruit/vegetable shop, wine, shops, restaurants, etc. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook (which we did every day) and it was convenient to have laundry in the house. The bedrooms were comfortable and well appointed. We were really able to relax and unwind. The outdoor dining area was spacious and beautiful.

The house was exactly what we were looking for

Catherine was amazing and the house was exactly what we were looking for. I feel like I’m repeating other reviews but perfect location, great parking in a secured gated property, pool was larger than we anticipated and in excellent condition, kitchen had everything we needed and more. Catherine had a lovely chilled rose wine waiting for us. Grocery store was just a few blocks away. You had amazing restaurant options in town but we did cook a couple of times in the house. Beds comfortable, everything clean and easy to use, spices, coffee and other items provided. Cannot say enough good things about this rental. Would definitely stay at this house again. Thank you!

Das Haus ist gross und sehr schön eingerichtet. Der Aussenbereich mit Garten und Pool ist überwältigend und sogar mit Sicht aufs Meer. Die Lage ist auch wunderbar. Der Austausch mit Thomas und Carlos lief reibungslos und unser Aufenthalt war sehr erholsam und problemfrei. Vielen Dank!

Huset er stort og vakkert innredet. Uteområdet med hage og basseng er fantastisk og har til og med utsikt over havet. Beliggenheten er også fantastisk. Utvekslingen med Thomas og Carlos gikk greit, og oppholdet vårt var veldig avslappende og problemfritt. Tusen takk skal dere ha!

The location couldn’t be better

What a fabulous, updated, comfortable and charming villa! The location couldn’t be better for those who want to be in the town of St Remy. Beatrice and her family were responsive to our every need and no detail was missed. We loved everything about it!

We really enjoyed our week, the house was lovely-very well appointed, clean and to our taste. We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors, the pool and amenities were wonderful and we loved the many areas to have apero. Overall a lovely stay and we hope to return!

Beautiful property with breathtaking view of Gordes

The property is beautiful, with many freely accessible facilities (kitchen, common room with herbal tea bar, swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sauna...) and with a pedestrian path with a breathtaking view of Gordes allowing to be there in 10 minutes. The room + bathroom is perfectly decorated and equipped.

Stylish and comfortable place with great outdoor area

What a great place to stay for cycling Ventoux and the surrounding area. We could not have asked for more for our cycling holiday. Stylish and comfortable place with great outdoor area and pool which was essential for the recent scorching temperatures. Easy walking distance to local bars, shops and restaurants. Good secure location for bikes. Would definitely stay here again if we return.

great house, even better than it looks in photos

We would have loved to stay longer. Main room big and spacious and while we were only 4, it would be good for up to 10. Pool fantastic. With great area around it and beautiful views. Friendly welcome by Martine. Easy to walk to Lagnes. Garden is beautifully maintained and really makes a huge difference.

Absolutely Perfect

This was our second visit to Chez Cecile with our 2 grown-up children and their other halves. It did not disappoint and everything was as great as it was in 2019. The outdoor space is exceptional.

Great House and Location

We loved the house and the location. We were traveling with a baby and the house was well set up for what you need. We also liked the fact that the house had large modern appliances, from the range to the frig/freezer to the washer dryer. Pool was great and the location was perfect for visiting lots of towns and sites - or staying the quiet around the pool.

Dream Holiday house

Really lived up to expectations. Very helpful meet and greet person who quickly responded to some minor queries. Amazingly large pool which all 9 of us enjoyed. House very spacious and beautiful decor. It was extremely hot during our visit so the air con was very welcome.
