Superbe séjour Et fantastisk opphold

Nous avons séjourné à la Bastide durant 2 semaines. Magnifique maison, 3 chambres et 3 salles de bain pour plus de confort. Belle piscine, joli jardin et une belle terrasse ombragée pour les repas. Grande cuisine équipée avec frigo américain. Excellent séjour.

Vi bodde på La Bastide i to uker. Et nydelig hus med tre soverom og tre bad for ekstra komfort. Flott svømmebasseng, en vakker hage og en fin, skyggefull terrasse hvor vi kunne spise. Stort, fullt utstyrt kjøkken med amerikansk kjøleskap. Et utmerket opphold.

Well maintained building and surroundings. Big kitchen, well equipped. Very nice pool area with a stunning view. Highest privacy. Very nice and helpful Host.

Godt vedlikeholdt bygning og omgivelser. Stort, velutstyrt kjøkken. Veldig fint bassengområde med fantastisk utsikt. Maksimal privatliv. Veldig hyggelig og hjelpsom vert.

Lovely village house Nydelig landsbyhus

We had a wonderful fortnight this beautiful Bastide. It was beautifully restored and very well appointed, in a pretty village, just a 5 minute walk to the boulangerie, boucherie and many restaurants and a short drive to many tourist attractions. It was fully air-conditioned, so we were very comfortable in the July heat. The kitchen was a joy to cook in. The garden was fully enclosed, so ideal for the dog. There were lots of sun lounges and parasols around the pool, and a lovely covered area where we had all our meals. We enjoyed the boules court in the evenings. The owners were very helpful and quick to respond to any queries. We would love to return.

Vi hadde to fantastiske uker i denne nydelige bastiden. Den var vakkert restaurert og svært godt utstyrt, og lå i en pen landsby, bare 5 minutters gange fra bakeri, slakteri og mange restauranter, samt en kort kjøretur unna mange turistattraksjoner. Den var fullt utstyrt med klimaanlegg, så vi hadde det svært behagelig i juli-varmen. Det var en glede å lage mat i kjøkkenet. Hagen var helt inngjerdet, så den var ideell for hunden. Det var mange solsenger og parasoller rundt bassenget, og et nydelig overbygd område der vi spiste alle måltidene våre. Vi koste oss på petanquebanen om kveldene. Eierne var svært hjelpsomme og svarte raskt på alle spørsmål. Vi vil gjerne komme tilbake.

A Great Holiday Home Rental

In July 2025 we rented a holiday home in Ansouis, Provence, through the rental agency Provence Holidays. The whole experience was superb. The admin by the agency worked perfectly, and the locally-based housekeeper/cleaner/administrator was helpful. More importantly, the house itself was super and very much as described – maybe even better than described! Recently refurbished throughout, it was a very tasteful modernisation of a more traditional Provencal building, set in large grounds with a rural outlook and feel, while just a 10-15 minute walk from the village. All four double bedrooms had en-suite bathrooms. The furnishings of all rooms were modern and tasteful. The whole house was very well equipped, with a great kitchen, more seating than any of the 6 of use could sit in in the week we were there. A large, properly heated (29 deg C) (safely covered) swimming pool outside, set in the BIG, well-tended gardens, was a delight for all the family. The grounds had numerous options for places to sit, and tables at which to eat, either in or out of the sun. The fact that the house was owned and let by a family who left books, toys, nice crockery and linens meant that it was both homely and comfortable, while remaining stylish. Ansouis is a delightful, hilltop village, with a well-stocked small supermarket, several lovely shops, a great restaurant, and the best pâtisserie in France – maybe the world? We loved it.

A fabulous villa. Beautifully appointed with large pool, large private grounds holding lots of outdoor games. Indoors all was very clean and well appointed. Will hope to go back again sometime

En fabelaktig villa. Vakkert innredet med stort basseng, stor privat eiendom med mange utendørs spill. Innendørs var alt veldig rent og velutstyrt. Vil håpe å gå tilbake igjen en gang

The location of the well equipped villa on a hillside with sweeping views of vines, olive groves and trees was outstanding, making for a great holiday experience. The poolside outdoor kitchen was well used.. The 14 year old teenagers loved the pool. Local restaurants, boulangeries and large supermarkets were 10-15 minutes away. A highlight was visiting the nearby Roman and medieval hillside towns of Seguret and Vaison La Romaine. By prearranged phone call Provence Holidays staff were helpful in changing the dates for our 2 weeks family stay.

Beliggenheten til den velutstyrte villaen i en åsside med vidstrakt utsikt over vinranker, olivenlunder og trær var enestående, noe som gjorde ferien til en flott opplevelse. Utekjøkkenet ved bassenget ble godt brukt. De 14 år gamle tenåringene elsket bassenget. Lokale restauranter, boulangerier og store supermarkeder var 10-15 minutter unna. Et høydepunkt var å besøke de nærliggende romerske og middelalderske åsbyene Seguret og Vaison La Romaine. Etter en forhåndsavtalt telefonsamtale var Provence Holidays ansatte behjelpelige med å endre datoene for vårt 2 ukers familieopphold.

Provence Holidays were fantastic to deal with throughout the whole process, from helping us to find the best property to rent to the concierge service ahead of our arrival. It was all very smooth and everyone I dealt with was so lovely. We would definitely book with them again. The property we booked was also so beautiful and unique, one of the nicest holidays we have ever had. And the owner checked in all the time to ensure we were happy.

Provence Holidays var fantastiske å ha med å gjøre gjennom hele prosessen, fra å hjelpe oss med å finne den beste eiendommen å leie til concierge-tjenesten i forkant av vår ankomst. Det hele var veldig smidig, og alle jeg hadde med å gjøre var så herlige. Vi ville definitivt booket hos dem igjen. Eiendommen vi bestilte var også så vakker og unik, en av de fineste feriene vi noensinne har hatt. Og eieren sjekket inn hele tiden for å sikre at vi var fornøyde.

The best view possible, the terrace was worth everything. The house is wonderful and everything is thought of, from batteries to candles or gym equipment. the only drawback was the lack of air conditioning in any room but the master bedroom and even there it didn't truly work. we were only three people so the place was expensive but had it been a larger group, the fee is fair. would easily go back tomorrow.

Den beste utsikten man kan tenke seg – terrassen var verdt alt. Huset er fantastisk, og det er tenkt på alt, fra batterier til stearinlys og treningsutstyr. Den eneste ulempen var at det ikke var klimaanlegg i noen av rommene bortsett fra hovedsoverommet, og selv der fungerte det ikke ordentlig. Vi var bare tre personer, så stedet var dyrt, men hadde det vært en større gruppe, ville prisen vært rimelig. Ville gjerne dratt tilbake i morgen.

The villa was perfect for our family summer holiday. It was fitted out to a very high spec and the support we received whilst staying was exemplary!

Fabulous property Mas de la Petite Sorgue var fantastisk

The property was fabulous. Very well furnished and equipped. Lovely quiet location next to a crystal clear, shallow river full of wildlife. We loved watching the Coypu and Kingfishers. Great plunge pool and outdoor space. Short walk to many bars, restaurants and shops.
