The Best

The best of the 4 different places we have rented in Provence. Our group of 13 adults was very impressed with the bedrooms and household furnishings. Multiple dinning areas inside and outside. Air conditioning in all bedrooms a major plus. Covered and heated pool was go to gathering place after day of touring. His wines are very good too.

You will not regret staying here

Wow! The villa is stunning. We were 8 adults, nothing was too much trouble for our host Katy. We arrived very late at night which was not a problem, even when we had to change the layout of a room due to siblings sharing clean bedding was produced and it was changed immediately. The outside space is amazing, the pool was just perfect and as we paid for it to be heated we were pretty much in it until late at night. The outside kitchen was used most days and the outside eating area is shaded and more then enough space for eight people. You will not be disappointed staying here. The local town is lovely, everything is on your doorstep and within 30 mins by car you are in reach of some beautiful sight seeing opportunities. This was one of our best holidays and quite simply we didn't want to leave.

Spacious and relaxing villa.

The house is spacious, clean, and very well-equipped with good quality items, especially the kitchen. Everything we wanted during the stay was there somewhere and it feels like the owners have gone to great lengths to anticipate every need and to meet it generously. If you can't be comfortable here then you are very difficult to please. Even with 10 guests there's always another area free, inside or outside, for anyone wanting a moment of solitude. Bedrooms are a reasonable size and all en-suite. Gardens are thoughtfully laid out with choices of outdoor eating areas, and the pool area has lots of space and loungers for relaxing. The pool itself is a good size; as it effectively has a shallow and deep section with a rapid transition then best suited to competent swimmers. Location is very private but not remote from the local village - there's a restaurant within easy walking distance and a boulangerie, supermarket, wine co-op, etc less than 5 minutes by car. It's not a strongly tourist area so while there is no shortage of things to do in the region some may require a journey of 30 minutes or more. Arrival and departure process was smooth, and the property manager was very accessible when needed for a minor query on how to use an appliance. As a group we felt we had a luxurious time there and would happily return.

Review

A beautiful house in a lovely spot with well landscaped gardens. Good beds and bathrooms and one of the best equipped kitchens we have ever seen in a rental. The pool is a good size but is beyond bracing to get into. Apparently, the owner will not invest in a heat pump but even a bubble wrap cover would help. For such a lovely garden, the decking looks cheap and not up to the standard of the rest of the landscaping. Owners and locals recommend Le Crillon in Murs. Maybe we hit an off day but it was very slow service and poor food. La Terasse in Goult is way better for the same price. Also a shout out to L’Arome in Bonnieux which was excellent.

A special place

The mas was perfect with beautiful views of the the parkland and Les Baux. It was quiet and felt secluded but still was only minutes to Maussanne. The kitchen and outdoor cooking areas were fully appointed and the owners have thought of everything you would need. The house manager, Alex, was wonderful and made arrival and departure seamless, gave us very good recommendations and made sure the house was perfect.

The perfect house for a 2 week stay

We stayed in this lovely and large mas which also has a very large pool! Every bedroom was of a generous size and the garden is amazing, so many different areas and all very well tended. We had the wonderful Nadege to call on if we had any problems. The house is amazingly not overlooked by any other property and yet only 5 minutes walk into Paradou. We wished we could have stayed longer!

Wonderful Vacation 素晴らしいバケーション

Das alte Haus zwischen Weinreben und Olivenbäumen im Herzen der Provence, war der ideale Ort um 2 erholsame Wochen mit der Familie zu verbringen. Der persönliche Touch im Hause und die Top ausgestattete Küche haben unser gefallen. Alles ist so wie auf den Bildern sichtbar. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermietung lief reibungslos und sehr freundlich. Einzig der Pool, hatte bei täglicher Benutzung von 12 Personen etwas regelmäßiger gereinigt werden können. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

プロヴァンスの中心にあるブドウの木とオリーブの木に挟まれた古い家は、家族で2週間リラックスして過ごすのに理想的な場所でした。私たちは、家の中の個人的なタッチや最高の設備の整ったキッチンが気に入りました。すべてが写真の通りです。 レンタル会社とのコミュニケーションもスムーズで、とても親切でした。 ただ、プールは毎日12人が使うので、もう少し定期的に掃除してほしかったです。 またいつでも来たいと思います。

Stunning home!

The villa and grounds were absolutely stunning and the owners were delighful to deal with. The roads to the villa are ridiculously narrow so if. you have a people mover - be prepared. The only other negative was that the village within walking distance was never open and there was not even a tabac or supermarket so you always needed to drive atleast 15mins for food. The pool area was fabulous as were the chairs under the vines. WE had a chef come one night for a special dinner - Chef Julie - and she was divine. We had a wonderful week here and will always remember it but it is isolated.

Wunderschönes Haus mit herrlichem Anwesen. Zauberhafte Atmosphäre und phantastischer Blick ins Tal. Sehr ruhige Lage. Herrlicher Pool.

We could not have been happier with our stay!

The home has everything you would need to enjoy exploring Provence. The home is restored beautifully and it has all the classic charm you’d expect, but also the modern touches that make it convenient for a stay with a lovely pool and pool house set on a very large property. The owner, was extremely nice and helpful during our stay- very responsive to our questions (and speaks great English which was a plus for us). The perfect host! The location is very private and quiet. If you look at the satellite views, it may look like it’s on a busy road, but once you’re inside the gate, you’ll feel quite secluded. The ease of having the large inter marche 1 minute away walking was fantastic to get us started. It’s an easy 5 minute walk to the center of town to the local fruit market, boulangerie, and all the restaurants in St Remy. This was our second stay in St Remy, but I wouldn’t stay anywhere else now that I’ve found this villa! I can’t wait to go back! I promise, you will not be disappointed!

Exceeded our expectations

We were informed that the villa was relatively remote from locally facilities, but it's really not an issue. Kate helped us hire electric bikes and we were able to cycle to several lunch venues. Vaison-la-Romaine is a pretty little town, with some Roman ruins, and a large market on Tuesdays. It's a 20 minute drive along the little back road. We didn't cycle there, but it would be easily achievable. Amazing views all around, including Mont Ventoux (well worth a drive, although probably not within cycling distance).

Site magnifique 壮大なサイト

Nous avons savouré notre séjour au Mas. Le site est magnifique et le Mas joliment aménagé. De plus, l'accueil et le professionnalisme de Doriane ont été parfaits et chaleureux. Le Mas est aménagé avec luxe et authenticité. L'espace est vaste et authentique.

Absolutely lovely villa for all ages.

Our concierge, Aurora, was wonderful and she answered all of my questions!! The birthday celebration with 3 generations was perfection! The villa was well equipped for cooking and dining and having a bathroom in each bedroom was great. Traversing the narrow roads took some getting used to but the location made it easy to get to many villages in less than 1/2 hour. Our family thoroughly enjoyed all the activities and amenities, and we were lucky to have good weather, even though it was hot…and we were able to see the beautiful lavender fields! Thank you to the owners and Provence Holiday!!

A beautiful modern villa

Lovely modern villa within walking distance of typical Provence Town with all amenities you need. Clean, modern and well presented with efficient air conditioning and impressive underfloor cooling on the ground floor. A nice pool with shaded sun loungers. A minor complaint was the grass was not cut whilst we were there for 2 weeks and this enhanced the mosquitoes, also the bbq needs to be replaced. We will be returning.

A dream house and a dream holiday

We have not wanted this holiday to end. We will be recommending this beautiful home in beautiful Provence to all our family & friends. We will be back for more memories to be made. Everything was superb & perfection. Thank you x

Overall experience

The Villa was beautiful and within close proximity of old Vence. We enjoyed our stay. Everything was perfectly maintained and Muriel was very attentive to our questions. Very family oriented with rooms en suite bathrooms and a really nice pool. The detached villa was perfect for our college aged daughter and her friend. Gave them their own privacy and was very safe within the compound. We would love to return one day in the future

Delightful stay

The mas was perfect with outstanding views of the Dentelles from the pool and outdoor patio and conveniently located. The mas is renovated barn built into the rocks and was beautifully renovated. The hosts greeted us on arrival and made the process seamless and made lovely recommendations. The kitchen was well appointed with appliances and and I would recommend a stay in the good weather months to enjoy the beautiful outdoor areas. .

We loved sainte Maxime and the Villa and really enjoyed our stay! It was all lovely!

We had a wonderful time celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary with family and friends

This golden paradise was perfect for our golden celebration. We especially enjoyed relaxing in the many different gardens. My favourite was the zen garden sharing special moments with the fish. Thank you for letting us experience your wonderful house and gardens.

We had a fabulous week!

We really made the most of the pool and outdoor kitchen and there was nothing we needed which wasn’t there. It was hot - so mostly we went out early and got back to get in the pool/shade. It’s a great location for exploring the local area and we loved Monaco, Nice, Lorgues and St Maxime. Thank you for hosting us and thanks to G for her help too.
