In addition to this feedback please see the email sent to Provence Holidays about the unfortunate start to our holiday. We think this Mas is a beautiful, elegantly presented and well equipped house. We loved the accommodation, garden and pool area. However, the outside dining area is set up next to the wall of an adjoining property. We were politely requested by the owner, prior to our visit, to vacate this area after 11pm, as it is the home of permanent residents, which we were pleased to do. On the Wednesday of our week long stay we hired a local chef to cook a 70th birthday meal for us. We chose to eat outside and the chef used the kitchen facilities and the inside table to prepare our meal. We were in the middle of a civilized family meal when, at 9:25pm the neighbour’s head appeared over the wall asking us to keep quiet. We were completely shocked by this request and our chef too couldn’t believe how unreasonable this was. The neighbour then proceeded to complain to the housekeeper who sent us a WhatsApp message the following day requesting that we move to the auvent from 10pm if outside on the remaining days. We then felt unable to use the outside dining area again in the evening and ate inside for the remainder of the holiday. We feel that it is completely unreasonable for guests, who have paid a lot of money to rent this property at the height of the summer season, to be unable to use what has clearly been set up as the eating area, for fear of disturbing the neighbours. Whilst we loved this property, we will not stay in it again and would be unable to recommend it to our friends, for the above reason. Visited in July
Oltre a questo feedback, vi preghiamo di consultare l’e-mail inviata a Provence Holidays riguardo allo sfortunato inizio della nostra vacanza. Riteniamo che questo Mas sia una casa bellissima, arredata con eleganza e ben attrezzata. Abbiamo apprezzato moltissimo l’alloggio, il giardino e l’area piscina. Tuttavia, la zona pranzo all’aperto è situata proprio accanto al muro di una proprietà adiacente. Prima del nostro arrivo, il proprietario ci aveva gentilmente chiesto di liberare quest’area dopo le 23:00, poiché si tratta dell’abitazione di residenti permanenti, cosa che abbiamo fatto volentieri. Il mercoledì del nostro soggiorno di una settimana abbiamo ingaggiato uno chef locale per preparare per noi una cena in occasione del 70° compleanno. Abbiamo scelto di mangiare all’aperto e lo chef ha utilizzato la cucina e il tavolo interno per preparare la nostra cena. Eravamo nel bel mezzo di una cena familiare tranquilla quando, alle 21:25, la testa del vicino è spuntata dal muro chiedendoci di fare silenzio. Siamo rimasti completamente scioccati da questa richiesta e anche il nostro chef non riusciva a credere a quanto fosse irragionevole. Il vicino ha poi presentato un reclamo alla governante, che il giorno seguente ci ha inviato un messaggio su WhatsApp chiedendoci di spostarci sotto la tettoia a partire dalle 22:00 se fossimo stati all’aperto nei giorni rimanenti. A quel punto non ci siamo più sentiti a nostro agio nell’utilizzare nuovamente la zona pranzo all’aperto la sera e abbiamo mangiato all’interno per il resto della vacanza. Riteniamo che sia del tutto irragionevole che gli ospiti, che hanno pagato una somma considerevole per affittare questa proprietà nel pieno della stagione estiva, non possano utilizzare quella che è stata chiaramente allestita come zona pranzo, per paura di disturbare i vicini. Sebbene questa proprietà ci sia piaciuta molto, non vi soggiorneremo più e non potremo raccomandarla ai nostri amici, per il motivo sopra indicato. Soggiorno effettuato a luglio
