A bit of Paradis in Paradou Un peu de Paradis au Paradou

The gates to the home open and the vista unfolds with lavender fields, olive trees and a beautiful home. It's like the gates of heaven opening each time you enter the property. The house and grounds were just lovely and Alison and Jo were extremely attentive to any and all needs and questions. We were there during the 109 degree heatwave and the pool was a delight. The thick walls kept the home cool so we didn't even need to run the air conditioning too regularly even with all the heat. Beds were very comfortable and the house was wonderfully outfitted for a vacation. Paradou is very centrally located and it was easy to travel to various markets, towns and vineyards from the house. Do know, however, that the house is a bit out of town and not a lot of commercial places to walk easily from the house. This also allowed for a great deal of serenity and absolute privacy. It was a perfect place to have family and friends all together. Would highly recommend, and the family was grateful to have access to such a treasure. We hope to be back!

Les portes de la maison s'ouvrent et la vue se dévoile avec des champs de lavande, des oliviers et une belle maison. C'est comme si les portes du paradis s'ouvraient chaque fois que vous pénétriez dans la propriété. La maison et le terrain étaient tout simplement charmants et Alison et Jo étaient extrêmement attentifs à tous les besoins et questions. Nous y étions pendant la canicule de 109 degrés et la piscine était un délice. Les murs épais gardaient la maison fraîche, nous n'avions donc même pas besoin de faire fonctionner la climatisation trop régulièrement, même avec toute la chaleur. Les lits étaient très confortables et la maison était merveilleusement équipée pour des vacances. Paradou est très central et il était facile de se rendre dans divers marchés, villes et vignobles depuis la maison. Sachez cependant que la maison est un peu en dehors de la ville et qu'il n'y a pas beaucoup de commerces pour marcher facilement depuis la maison. Cela a également permis une grande sérénité et une intimité absolue. C'était un endroit parfait pour avoir famille et amis tous ensemble. Je le recommande vivement, et la famille était reconnaissante d'avoir accès à un tel trésor. Nous espérons pouvoir revenir!
