Très belle propriété située en périphérie de St Rémy décorée avec goût.

Les équipements sont neufs et les petites attentions à l'arrivée (vins, petites bouteilles d'eau dans chaque chambre...) sont très appréciables. Maison propre, calme et sécurisée afin de permettre à chaque membre de la famille de s'y sentir comme chez soi. Une vraie belle surprise !!

We absolutely loved it!

We had the best time - walking, cycling, running. It is so beautiful and private. Not a soul in sight and perfect for a bit of recuperation.

The house itself is perfect and you have all the utensils (kitchen stuff etc...), site info, beautiful scenery, great garden and awesome pool to share with the family! On top of that, in light of the whole COVID situation, you have everything for a nice holiday in one place (you don’t need to go out if you don’t want too) - amazing and definitely looking with an eye on next year! La maison elle-même est parfaite et vous avez tous les ustensiles (ustensiles de cuisine, etc.), des informations sur le site, de beaux paysages, un grand jardin et une superbe piscine à partager avec la famille ! En plus de cela, à la lumière de toute la situation COVID, vous avez tout pour passer de bonnes vacances au même endroit (vous n'avez pas besoin de sortir si vous ne le souhaitez pas aussi) - incroyable et certainement à la recherche d'un œil sur la prochaine année! Great location, beautiful house with lots to do - heated pool, tennis court and boules

Absolutely beautiful villa which was clean and well-equipped. Perfect spacious accommodation for a party of ten. Best part of all was the glorious garden. Someone had an eye for creating such a visual delight. We had excellent and prompt support both before and during our stay for minor questions or requests.

It was truly like a dream that we never wanted to wake up from.

We had very high expectations for our stay in Provence, and somehow our stay at Mas Lambesc exceeded those expectations.

Firstly, we had a totally splendid holiday at Mas du Valent and would very much like to return.

The location is excellent, totally private, quiet and a lovely large plot and yet only a 15 minute walk into the centre of St Remy. The provision of a private parking space in town is most useful for when returning with all the goodies purchased at the Wednesday market. The host, Jean Yves, and his delightful wife Isabelle, were most obliging and when the odd niggle did occur (the power went out briefly) he responded very quickly. On two occasions he turned up with breakfast croissants for us. This is a five bedroom property which sleeps ten in five double beds. Three are in the main house, one master bedroom upstairs with en-suite and two downstairs, opening onto the gardens with a shared bathroom and separate loo. In the 'dependence' or annex there is a bedroom with bathroom and loo and a sofa bed in the sitting room. These rooms are not quite so nice but ideal for kids as they can get some privacy or for guests passing through. The living room is comfortable, air-conditioned and has a large flat screen smart TV. We spent very little time inside. The kitchen has been designed by someone who doesn't cook! It is well equipped (although oddly missing one or two expected items like a pair of scissors and a water jug). The fridge, hob and dishwasher are all within a couple of feet of each other and only one can be accessed at a time. If, like us, you are mainly preparing salads, cold food or BBQ-ing outside then it is fine. Coffee making facilities are excellent with a Nespresso machine and a larger bean-to-cup job. The device I missed the most was an ice making machine. If, like us, you are drinking industrial quantities of Provencal Rose, you need a lot of ice for the ice buckets. Making ice in little trays in the (quite small) freezer was a bit of a bore. The garden and pool area is first class, with lots of shade when it gets too hot. The Jacuzzi and sauna didn't appear to be working when we were there but I don't think we really wanted them. Nice for the cooler months though and I think that is Jean Yves' intention. There is a second dining area outside a small building with a pizza oven but it looked like it hadn't been used in ages (maybe a future project for Jean Yves). I recommend spending a day with Jean Yves and Isabelle on their boat, a lovely 54ft Janneau yacht. His rates are reasonable and you will have great fun (I am not a sailor!). In summary, Mas du Valent is a lovely place to stay and the negatives did not detract from our enjoyment (except for the odd glass of warm Rose due to lack of ice!). Jean Yves has an impish sense of humour but be in no doubt he wants you to have fun and will assist with any problems or queries.

The home has all the amenities one needs for a large group. Very cozy spaces to chill and yet large enough to getaway.

A beautiful property

A friendly welcome by the owners made us feel like home immediately. The house, all spaces, are warmly furnished and decorated in style. All clean and regularly looked after very well by the cleaning staff. During our stay all of our family members spent most of their time in the centrally located kitchen with lots of space and the beautifull cour. Goult is a nice village just a 10 minutes walk away and we enjoy the luberon anyway as one of the nicest places in france. We will be back !

Can't praise Provence holidays highly enough. Booking was speedy, staff honest and informative and we got the villa we wanted with the minimum of fuss. Unfortunately the new Government travel warnings re. Covid meant we had to cancel and we were absolutely stunned by the way Provence holidays, in particular Simon, dealt with the problem. They were fast, professional and very considerate. The money was refunded with no fuss and I would hundred percent travel with them next year, in fact we're looking into booking the Villa we had to cancel now. Outstanding.

Je ne taris pas d'éloges sur les vacances en Provence. La réservation était rapide, le personnel honnête et informatif et nous avons eu la villa que nous voulions avec le minimum de tracas. Malheureusement, les nouveaux avertissements de voyage du gouvernement re. Covid signifiait que nous devions annuler et nous avons été absolument stupéfaits par la façon dont les vacances en Provence, en particulier Simon, ont géré le problème. Ils étaient rapides, professionnels et très prévenants. L'argent a été remboursé sans chichi et je voyagerais à cent pour cent avec eux l'année prochaine, en fait, nous envisageons de réserver la Villa que nous devions annuler maintenant. Exceptionnel.

Sadly had to cancel J'ai malheureusement dû annuler

Due to government guidelines we had to cancel our trip. I sent an email on the Friday advising this and had my money returned on the Monday. I am still fighting with other companies to get money back from holidays cancelled in April. I would recommend anyone to book with confidence with Provence holidays and am just v sad that we could not go. House looked so beautiful.

En raison des directives gouvernementales, nous avons dû annuler notre voyage. J'ai envoyé un e-mail le vendredi pour l'informer et j'ai reçu mon argent le lundi. Je me bats toujours avec d'autres entreprises pour récupérer de l'argent des vacances annulées en avril. Je recommanderais à quiconque de réserver en toute confiance avec Provence Holidays et je suis vraiment triste de ne pas pouvoir y aller. La maison était si belle.

Sadly we were forced to cancel our Provence holiday this year due to Foreign Office guidelines and covid restrictions but Simon at Provence Villas kindly offered us many options including a full refund and rebooking our holiday. He personally called to take me through the options available to us. We decided to rebook the villa for summer 2021 and would highly recommend Simon and his team at Provence Villas. Excellent service + an unbeatable choice of villas in the Provence region.

Excellent séjour

Excellent séjour. Paysage superbe et localisation très tranquille. Villa très agréable avec une décoration recherchée. Très bien équipée. Pas facile de trouver le chemin d'accès la première fois. Demander le chauffage de la piscine. En conclusion : très bonne référence, sans surprise.
