Sally is an amazing host; thoughtful and attentive. The garden cottage has a unique location in the loveliest of towns and access to one of nicest pools you can imagine. Amazing views.

Excellent séjour au "Mas du Bourrelier"

Agréable propriété au calme au milieu des vignes et face au magnifique cadre des "Dentelles de Montmirail", mais avec les commerces essentiels à proximité; la tonnelle, sous laquelle nous avons pris tous nos repas ajoute à son charme. Nos enfants et petits enfant ont particulièrement apprécié la belle piscine. Nous avons été sensibles au chaleureux accueil de nos hôtes. Nous recommanderons cette locations à nos amis.

La maison est très bien placée et très fonctionnelle. Idéale pour une semaine en famille. La Déco est également au rendez vous :)

Amazing Villa in Provence!! Hämmästyttävä huvila Provence!!

We had such amazing 2-week-vacations in the Provence! The Villa was stunning, the pool was great, the owners were very kind and friendly..... also, we were close to several gorgeous locations, so we could visit other cities/neighborhoods..... everything was absolutely perfect!! I totally recommend this Villa!! Me and my family loved being there!!

Meillä oli niin upeat 2-viikkoiset lomat Provenceissa! Villa oli upea, uima-allas oli mahtava, omistajat olivat erittäin ystävällisiä ja ystävällisiä..... myös, olimme lähellä useita upeita paikkoja, joten voisimme vierailla muissa kaupungeissa/seuduilla..... kaikki oli aivan täydellistä!!! Suosittelen tätä Villaa täysin!!! Minä ja perheeni rakastimme siellä oloa!!!

We were a group of friends visiting Provence for the first time.

Jean Yves was the perfect host and very accommodating. Great house for a group, pool and grounds gorgeous. Super spot to come back to after a long day exploring. Parking spot in town was an extra bonus! We could easily have stayed longer!

La maison est dans un cadre exceptionnel, en sorte, que nous n'avons pas bougé pendant une semaine. L'intérieur est spacieux, idéal pour que chaque famille ait son intimité. Les enfants étaient ravis, et la piscine parfaitement sécurisée, pour mon plus grand plaisir. Votre mas est un bijou, un vrai coup de cœur ! Nous y reviendrons :)

Vous êtes perdus dans les Alpilles mais à 10 min en voiture du centre de Saint Remy. Prévoir une voiture qui ne craint pas le chemin de pierres. L'accueil par les propriétaires est très chaleureux. Nous recommandons vivement cette location !

Excellent séjour dans le mas de Jean Yves et son épouse.

Accueil excellent. Domaine splendide, bien entretenu, avec le petit plus des œufs frais des 5 poules (Bonheur des enfants) tous les jours ! Jean Yves n’est pas avare de conseils sur les visites et bonnes adresses. À suivre car ils sont excellents. Nous le disons rarement mais nous reviendrons sûrement dans ce petit coin de paradis. Merci pour tout.

I returned from France last Tuesday night, and am so sorry to leave it, and especially, your beautiful house in Oppede. I will remember it always as one of the best vacations I've ever had.

La maison est magnifique et propose de très belles prestations; la piscine et l’immense jardin sont parfaitement entretenus et propices à la détente. Tout est fait pour y passer d’agréables moments en famille. Jean-Yves et Isabelle sont des hôtes très prévenants. La région offre de nombreuses sorties possibles et les conseils de nos hôtes ont été très appréciables pour faire nos choix.

Provence Holidays has shown some remarkable flexibility during the COVID-19 lock down in spring 2020

We have booked 'Chez Florette' for a 50th birthday reunion with our family. Shortly before the holidays European boarders closed for COVID-19 reasons and we cancelled the trip. Provence Holidays has shown great flexibility in moving our reservation one year ahead without any problems. We are extremely happy about this and are looking forward to having a nice vacation soon in the south of France!

Magical! Magical!

This is a truly magical place, great central location to all the hotspots in the Luberon and beyond. We enjoyed the stay especially the view of the lavender field, and the pool right in front of us. The only negative - one week is not enough.

Lovely house in a beautiful, private location Ihana talo kauniilla, yksityisellä paikalla

We have been renting this property every other year or so for the past 6 years. We keep coming back because it is a magical spot. The house itself is very roomy and comfortable, and has a huge and very well-equipped kitchen for people to gather in. There are multiple places to gather outside as well, including a recently added grilling/dining/sitting area with views of the Luberon. The location is completely private, but it is within easy walking distance of the town of Goult, which has several very good restaurants and cafės, and stores carrying all the necessities. Both the owner and the property manager were extremely helpful and quick to respond to questions, etc. We will be back!

Olemme vuokranneet tätä kiinteistöä noin joka toinen vuosi viimeisten 6 vuoden ajan. Palaamme aina takaisin, koska se on maaginen paikka. Talo itsessään on erittäin tilava ja mukava, ja siinä on valtava ja hyvin varustettu keittiö, johon ihmiset voivat kokoontua. Ulkona on myös useita paikkoja kokoontua, mukaan lukien hiljattain lisätty grilli-/ruokailu-/istumisalue, josta on näkymät Luberoniin. Sijainti on täysin yksityinen, mutta se on helpon kävelymatkan päässä Goultin kaupungista, jossa on useita erittäin hyviä ravintoloita ja kahviloita sekä kauppoja, joissa on kaikki välttämättömyydet. Sekä omistaja että kiinteistönhoitaja olivat erittäin avuliaita ja nopeita vastaamaan kysymyksiin jne. Me tulemme takaisin!

Great holiday in St Remy

We had a wonderful two weeks in Villa Alpilles. The location is perfect for walking into the centre of St Remy (only a few minutes walk). The property was very welcoming and had excellent facilities. We particularly enjoyed the sauna after a long day of hiking or cycling. The property was very clean and well equipped. It was great to have use of the garage for our bikes and equipment and we loved the various outside seating areas to catch the sun at all times of the day. Would highly recommend this property.

Wonderful!

I have just spent 2 weeks at this beautiful property. It’s perfect for 2 families (in the main house) plus grandparents / staff (in the cottage.) My 7 year old twins loved the swimming pool, where they spent hours playing water games or practising their swimming. As adults we loved visiting the local markets and vineyards and cooking Provençal food in the evenings. Another huge plus of this property is that it has its own vineyard and you can visit Aureto where it’s wine is made. Finally you can organise a local taxi firm to take you out for dinner. The truffle restaurant in Menerbes and La Recreation in Lourmarin are superb. We will definitely be back !!

Chilling-out in style…

There are many objectives for a vacation; including - to varying degrees - unwinding, exploring an area, and enjoying times with friends. In our case, after a prolonged period of intensive work our primary focus was to unwind. However, we've decided this beautiful home is ideal for all three purposes. The perfect early September weather meant spending much of our time outside on the gorgeous terrace. It is a fabulous area where you feel both secluded and on top of the world. Beautiful elevated views across the vineyards towards the surrounding hills, attractive landscaping and comfortable furniture make it an absolute delight to just chill, gaze, and soak it all in. Before arriving we were a little curious about the dipping pool, and concerned it would be too warm to be refreshing. In fact it’s a perfect temperature for cooling down and taking in the views; especially at the end of a long hot day. Inside, the house is exquisitely furnished including some great artwork, and really well-equipped. Nothing is wanting at all - and the bed is super-comfortable too! Everything you need to eat and drink well is close by. We loved the market shopping at nearby Coustellet; buying Cavaillon melons (purported to be the best!), tapenade, cheeses, olive oil, wonderful fruit & vegetables and trying a few wines. We also went to several local restaurants; including Ménerbe’s own ‘Le 5’ - a real treat! Plus of course the nearby salon du thé ‘Chez Auzet’ complete with its sweet delicacies, where over your morning coffee and treat you can partake in some people watching: both tourists and locals! Like us, you'll inevitably need to do lots of walking to try and off-set some of the indulgences! We could very easily have spent all week just in Ménerbes; chilling out on the terrace with wineglass in hand and an occasional ‘sortie’ to explore the immediate environs - preferably on foot! However, Provence is a new domain for us, so we did venture out to explore the region. And there are such interesting choices in every direction. If you’re fond of the arts, there are numerous galleries to choose from. And a visit to the extraordinary ‘son et lumière’ at the Carrières Lumières nearby St Remy de Provence is a must. This season, Picasso is featured like you have never seen him before. Followed by a fabulous lunch at a St Remy restaurant (details in the house ‘guest book’). There is a range of local musical offerings as well: one magical evening in the chapel of the nearby Abbaye de St Hilaire we enjoyed a delightful concert featuring (amongst other items) the 3rd part of Handel’s Mass. And if wine-tasting is your personal vice - then as well as numerous local Provençale vineyards supported by limitless tasting options at Ménerbes ‘Maison de la Truffe et du Vin’ just 200m away - then less than an hour’s drive away you’re amongst southern Rhone treasures such as Chateauneuf du Pape, Beaumes de Venise, Gigondas… Other places to visit include the 2000 year old Pont du Gard near Avignon, the famous Calanques at Cassis, Gordes...the visit list is almost endless! During our stay we talked about how much fun it would be to return and share this home with friends. It is perfectly set up for two or three couples, with great convivial social spaces - but also secluded spots for a quiet retreat. In fact I'm drafting this review sitting in a comfy chair by an open French door, enjoying a gentle breeze and, yes - that view! What more can we say? The only downside of being here: our stay is near its end and tomorrow we must leave!

Perfect

We returned from Cabrières enchanted by our stay in this beautiful home, and in this beautiful and well preserved region. We and our children fell in love with it. The preparation of the house and the running of it made everything so easy, from first contact to handing back the keys at the moment of departure.
