Special villa in a glorious setting

We loved every minute of our holiday in this beautiful villa. The house is wonderfully situated with stunning views and brilliant outdoor areas including the pool. Sympathetically restored to provide every modern convenience whilst retaining its character. Lovely clean rooms with comfy beds. Nice and cool in the house despite high summer temperatures. We particularly loved the pool table room - a great way to have fun out of the heat.

Formidable!

Thank you so much for letting us borrow this little corner of paradise for a week. The history, setting, gardens and position of this beautiful French house is just perfect. We arrived a week ago after a busy time traveling Northern Spain so have taken the opportunity to just relax and enjoy the house pool, sound of crickets, smells of lavender and thyme to just ultimately relax. We will be back for sure. Au revoir!

Très belle maison !!! Erittäin mukava talo!!!

Très belle maison !!! Jardin, terrasses et piscine magnifiques! Grand salon et cuisine très bien équipée. Maison très fonctionnelle, idéale pour une famille. Seul bémol, peut-être la proximité des chambres si on y va entre amis… Et situation géographique idéale pour découvrir la région. Je recommande vivement !!!

Kaunis talo!!! Upea puutarha, terassit ja uima-allas! Suuri olohuone ja erittäin hyvin varustettu keittiö. Erittäin toimiva talo, ihanteellinen perheelle. Ainoa huono puoli, ehkä makuuhuoneiden läheisyys, jos menet ystävien kanssa ... Ihanteellinen sijainti alueen tutustumiseen. Suosittelen lämpimästi!

Heel mooi, proper! Erittäin mukava, siisti!

Heel mooi, proper huis. Alle voorzieningen waren aanwezig. Heel fijn onthaal, steeds goed te woord gestaan bij vragen. We hadden een hele fijne reis met onze 2 kinderen (3 jaar en 1 jaar). De bbq aan het zwembad was heel leuk, ook de muziekvoorzieningen waren een meerwaarde. Het was tip top in orde!

Erittäin mukava, siisti talo. Kaikki mukavuudet olivat läsnä. Erittäin mukava vastaanotto, aina erittäin avulias kysymyksissä. Meillä oli erittäin mukava matka 2 lapsemme kanssa (3-vuotias ja 1-vuotias). Grillipaikka uima-altaalla oli erittäin mukava, myös musiikkipalvelut olivat lisäarvo. Se oli tip top kunnossa!

Wonderful stay in modern, comfortable property

We spent a week in the property and could have easily used another. The physical space is magnificent, with high-end finishes and thoughtful details throughout. The bedrooms are more private, comfortable (and importantly, cool) than many others we have encountered. The location has immediately accessible grocery, bakery and a restaurant within seconds walking time. The location also benefits greatly from being within 60 minutes of innumerable charming villages, with Avignon more than close enough to pop in for dinner then back 'home'. It's a special property that would suited our family very well.

Lovely house Mas des Amandes

The house is in a central location in the village with restaurants and shops within short walking distance. The house is spacious and tastefully decorated with all necessities provided for a pleasant stay. The pool is lovely and gated parking is a plus. It is useful to note that the third bedroom is on the ground floor with direct access to its own little courtyard. The housekeeper was very helpful and responsive to questions.

Talo sijaitsee kylän keskustassa, ja ravintolat sekä kaupat ovat lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä. Talo on tilava ja tyylikkäästi sisustettu, ja sieltä löytyy kaikki tarvittava miellyttävään oleskeluun. Uima-allas on ihana, ja aidattu pysäköintialue on mukava lisä. On hyvä tietää, että kolmas makuuhuone sijaitsee pohjakerroksessa, josta on suora pääsy omalle pienelle sisäpihalle. Talonhoitaja oli erittäin avulias ja vastasi kysymyksiin nopeasti.

Ultimate Bliss!

We have loved our week long stay in possibly the chicest house in France. The property is to beautiful and well equipped we spent most of our warm days by the pool, wandering into town for laid back dinners. As a group with four children we recommend - Bistro « Les Pieds dans l'Eau ». We took a day trip into Arles which is highly recommended. The St Rémy Wednesday market was also fantastic and worth an early start! Thank you Provence Holidays we'll be back.

We've had two unforgettable holidays at this stunning property near Seillans. The house itself is spacious, beautifully appointed, and ideal for both a family gathering or a group of friends. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, from the luxurious furnishings to the beautifully landscaped gardens. The outdoor spaces are the real highlight — a gorgeous pool set amidst lush greenery, a fully equipped outdoor kitchen ideal for long, leisurely meals, and plenty of seating areas to soak up the Provençal sun. There’s also no shortage of things to do at the house itself, with a ping pong table, a cinema room, and plenty of space to unwind. Meillä on ollut kaksi unohtumatonta lomaa tässä upeassa kiinteistössä lähellä Seillansia. Talo itsessään on tilava, kauniisti varustettu ja ihanteellinen sekä perheen kokoontumiseen että ystäväporukalle. Jokainen yksityiskohta on harkittu huolellisesti, ylellisistä kalusteista kauniisti maisemoituihin puutarhoihin. Ulkotilat ovat todellinen kohokohta - upea uima-allas vehreän vehreyden keskellä, täysin varustettu ulkokeittiö, joka on ihanteellinen pitkille, rauhallisille aterioille, ja runsaasti oleskelualueita, joissa voi nauttia Provencen auringosta. Wonderful Stay

Thank you, we had a wonderful stay at your beautiful house and loved discovering this unspoilt and special place. Highlights for us: Lots of time in the pool Long lunches and dinners under the oak tree Local markets, especially Die Amazing bike ride over the hill to Montbrand and lovely valley Daring drive up to the ridge above Aspres - worth it for those with appropriate car! We hope to be back again soon

Absolutely beautiful French country house. Very beautiful interiors but the garden and pool are really the crown jewel. Lots of places to sit and relax. It may not be clear but there is a bedroom in the pool house which is a separate structure. Out teenage boys enjoyed having their own space out there. This is a great place for a big group. We had two families of 5.

An absolutely brilliant holiday! Todella upea loma!

We’ve just returned from the most amazing 2 weeks in Provence! The concierge was there to greet us and we also met the owners of the villa who are truly lovely. They were so helpful with suggestions for things to do in the area. The Concierge was also always on hand via WhatsApp for any queries we had. We pre ordered some groceries which were waiting for us in the villa. The villa itself was beautiful, fresh and perfectly laid out. The whole house and outside areas were so impressive, flowed so well and suited us as a family to have pool time/chill time out of the sun. House impeccably finished. We absolutely loved it! Gordes is a very short drive away and plenty of cobbled streets to explore. Some lovely shops with pretty dresses, hats galore, salts and oils and lavender. Looked around the castle. Market day on Tuesdays. An absolutely brilliant holiday!

Olemme juuri palanneet upeimmista kahdesta viikosta Provencessa! Concierge oli paikalla toivottamassa meidät tervetulleiksi, ja tapasimme myös villan omistajat, jotka ovat todella ihania. He antoivat erittäin hyödyllisiä vinkkejä alueen nähtävyyksistä ja tekemisistä. Concierge oli myös aina tavoitettavissa WhatsAppin kautta, jos meillä oli kysyttävää. Olimme tilanneet etukäteen joitakin elintarvikkeita, jotka odottivat meitä villassa. Villa itsessään oli kaunis, raikas ja täydellisesti suunniteltu. Koko talo ja ulkoalueet olivat todella vaikuttavia, tilat sulautuivat saumattomasti toisiinsa ja sopivat erinomaisesti meidän perheellemme, kun halusimme viettää aikaa uima-altaalla tai rentoutua auringonpaisteelta suojassa. Talon viimeistely oli moitteetonta. Rakastimme sitä täysin! Gordes on hyvin lyhyen ajomatkan päässä, ja siellä on runsaasti mukulakivikatuja tutkittavaksi. Siellä on ihania kauppoja, joissa on kauniita mekkoja, runsaasti hattuja, suoloja, öljyjä ja laventelia. Kiertelimme linnan ympäristössä. Tiistaisin on markkinapäivä. Aivan loistava loma!

Wow... Just: wow!!! Vau... Vain: wow!!!

Dit huis is onbeschrijfelijk mooi... We kwamen hier om het vijftigjarige jubileum van mijn ouders te vieren en waren daardoor met een groep met leeftijden tussen 5 en 75 jaar oud. En we hebben allemaal enorm genoten!! We brachten onze dagen grotendeels in en rondom het zwembad door, de overdekte zijde - met chillbanken, grote tafel en buitenkeuken - maken dat perfect mogelijk. Met niet te vergeten een weergaloos uitzicht waar we geen genoeg van konden krijgen... Het zwembad was groot genoeg om alle kleinkinderen (tussen de 5 en 16 jaar oud) naar hartelust te laten plonsen en spelen. De kamers in het huisje bij het zwembad waren wel warm maar verder perfect voor alle kinders (de mooie slaapkamers in het hoofdhuis zonder airco toch goed te doen ondanks de hitte buiten!). De tennisbaan (s avonds verlicht!) is ook volop gebruikt. Echt, het was een topvakantie voor ons allemaal!

Tämä talo on sanoinkuvaamattoman kaunis Tulimme tänne juhlimaan vanhempieni 50-vuotispäivää ja olimme siksi porukalla, jonka iät vaihtelivat 5 ja 75 vuoden välillä. Ja me kaikki nautimme suunnattomasti!!!! Vietimme suurimman osan päivistämme uima-altaalla ja sen ympärillä, ja katettu puoli - jossa on chill-sohvat, suuri pöytä ja ulkokeittiö - teki siitä täydellisesti mahdollista. Puhumattakaan vertaansa vailla olevasta näkymästä, josta emme voineet saada tarpeeksemme..... Uima-allas oli tarpeeksi suuri, jotta kaikki lapsenlapset (5-16-vuotiaita) saivat roiskia ja leikkiä sydämensä kyllyydestä. Mökin huoneet uima-altaalla olivat lämpimiä, mutta muuten täydellisiä kaikille lapsille (päärakennuksen ihanat makuuhuoneet ilman ilmastointia pärjäsivät silti hyvin ulkona vallitsevasta kuumuudesta huolimatta!). Tenniskenttä (valaistu yöllä!) oli myös täydessä käytössä. Todella, se oli huippuloma meille kaikille!

We absolutely loved our week in Provence Meillä oli todella ihana viikko Chez Christellessä.

We were warmly greeted by the property owner and happily told to text her if we needed anything. We didn't need to. The house is a beautiful, spacious 18th Century treasure trove and is the real provençal dream. It's full of old furniture and art and has been in the family for generations. If you are looking for a fully modernised, shiny, soulless place, this isn't for you. But the kitchen is fully modernised and well equipped, the bathrooms are fine and the beds are comfortable. The gardens are enormous with a beautiful olive grove, great pool, enough seating for everyone and lots of fun to be had at the boulodrôme and playing table tennis. St Didier is a sweet village with two bakeries, bars and everything you need. One of the bakeries made us an unbelievable chocolate cake for a birthday. Provence Holidays and the owner were a pleasure to deal with. Thank you from us all. It was very special indeed. If you're looking for Quiet & Peace, this is your place.

Talo on kaunis, tilava 1700-luvun aarreaitta ja todellinen provencelainen unelma. Se on täynnä vanhoja huonekaluja ja taideteoksia, ja se on ollut suvun omistuksessa jo sukupolvien ajan. Jos etsit täysin modernisoitua, kiiltävää ja sielutonta paikkaa, tämä ei ole sinulle sopiva. Keittiö on kuitenkin täysin modernisoitu ja hyvin varustettu, kylpyhuoneet ovat kunnossa ja sängyt mukavat. Puutarhat ovat valtavat, ja niissä on kaunis oliivilehto, upea uima-allas, istumapaikkoja kaikille riittävästi sekä runsaasti hauskanpitoa boulodrômessa ja pöytätennistä pelatessa. St Didier on viehättävä kylä, jossa on kaksi leipomoa, baareja ja kaikki tarvittava. Toinen leipomoista leipoi meille uskomattoman suklaakakun syntymäpäiväksi. Provence Holidaysin ja omistajan kanssa oli ilo asioida. Kiitos meiltä kaikilta. Se oli todellakin hyvin erityistä. Jos etsit rauhaa ja hiljaisuutta, tämä on sinun paikkasi.

Very nice house with a lot of atmosphere

Very nice house with a lot of atmosphere, e.g. a 500 year old vaulted ceiling in the living room. The kitchen and dining area inside/outside are very successful, well equipped and make every day a lot of fun. The pool is gorgeous. The neighborhood is quiet and well-kept. In the village everything is within walking distance. There are numerous restaurants and bars on the church square. There are small shops on the main street. The proximity to Les Baux is also great. In 5 minutes you are there and can enjoy a wonderful view at sunset.

Everything was excellent - the agency, our host on site, the accommodation, the village, the restaurants, the area. 100% recommend.

Lovely place

This villa is charming and well appointed. Although not all rooms are air-conditioned we were never too hot, as the mornings and evenings cooled off quickly and we were gone during the hottest parts of the day. The pictures and descriptions reflected exactly what we found upon arrival. A lovely place to use as a home base for exploring the french countryside and villages.

Paradise found! Paratiisi löytyi!

We stayed for one week in this beautiful property: two families from Vancouver Canada and had the most relaxing and memorable stay. Warm winds, lazy days spent by the perfect pool, surrounded by gorgeous trees and gardens. The house was very well appointed with plenty of space for six travelers, excellent kitchen with all the modern amenities and extremely comfortable bedrooms. A special thank you to our house concierge who was so pleasant and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort and happiness. We thoroughly enjoyed Saint Rémy and surrounding areas, on E-BIKES which we highly recommend as a fun day out, the Wednesday market and a private wine Tour of Château-Neuf-du-Pape. Plenty on offer for those that want to keep busy and a private and beautiful home for those that wish for lazy days lounging. This was the perfect holiday for our two families and we cannot wait to book again with Provence Holidays. Sincere thanks to all for a beautiful time in this most amazing property.

Vietimme viikon tässä upeassa majapaikassa: kaksi perhettä Vancouverista Kanadasta, ja lomastamme tuli erittäin rentouttava ja ikimuistoinen. Lämmin tuuli, rentoja päiviä vietettiin täydellisen uima-altaan äärellä, upeiden puiden ja puutarhojen ympäröimänä. Talo oli erittäin hyvin varustettu, ja siinä oli runsaasti tilaa kuudelle matkustajalle, erinomainen keittiö kaikilla moderneilla mukavuuksilla sekä erittäin mukavat makuuhuoneet. Erityinen kiitos talon conciergelle, joka oli niin miellyttävä ja avulias ja teki kaikkensa varmistaakseen, että olimme mukavasti ja tyytyväisiä. Nautimme täysin siemauksin Saint Rémystä ja sen ympäristöstä, erityisesti sähköpyörillä, joita suosittelemme lämpimästi hauskan päiväretken tekemiseen, keskiviikon torista sekä yksityisestä viinikierroksesta Château-Neuf-du-Papeen. Tarjolla on runsaasti tekemistä niille, jotka haluavat pitää itsensä kiireisinä, ja kaunis, yksityinen koti niille, jotka haluavat viettää laiskoja päiviä rentoutuen. A beautiful and welcoming villa

We spent a week here in these gentle surroundings with our extended family and would love to return. The pool is great, and the gardens are a perfect foil for the big house. Big comfortable beds and a well-stocked kitchen. A lovely sense of privacy but close to adventures (canoeing's a plus!) and a range of walks and wineries.

We spent a wonderful week. The house is clean, well stocked with crockery and has high end appliances. The beds are comfortable, the showers lovely and the swimming pool is fantastic. Great outside spaces with wonderful gardens. A great base for visiting the region - we went as far as the Carmague and Orange without difficulty. A car is essential and given its on a hill some of the roads are narrow with tight bends. We wished we could stay !

Vietimme ihanan viikon. Talo on siisti, siinä on runsaasti astioita ja huippuluokan kodinkoneet. Sängyt ovat mukavat, suihkut ihania ja uima-allas on upea. Upeat ulkotilat ja kauniit puutarhat. Erinomainen tukikohta alueen tutustumiseen – pääsimme vaivattomasti jopa Carmaguén ja Orangeen asti. Auto on välttämätön, ja koska talo sijaitsee kukkulalla, osa teistä on kapeita ja mutkaisia. Olisimmepa voineet jäädä pidemmäksi aikaa!
