In addition to this feedback please see the email sent to Provence Holidays about the unfortunate start to our holiday. We think this Mas is a beautiful, elegantly presented and well equipped house. We loved the accommodation, garden and pool area. However, the outside dining area is set up next to the wall of an adjoining property. We were politely requested by the owner, prior to our visit, to vacate this area after 11pm, as it is the home of permanent residents, which we were pleased to do. On the Wednesday of our week long stay we hired a local chef to cook a 70th birthday meal for us. We chose to eat outside and the chef used the kitchen facilities and the inside table to prepare our meal. We were in the middle of a civilized family meal when, at 9:25pm the neighbour’s head appeared over the wall asking us to keep quiet. We were completely shocked by this request and our chef too couldn’t believe how unreasonable this was. The neighbour then proceeded to complain to the housekeeper who sent us a WhatsApp message the following day requesting that we move to the auvent from 10pm if outside on the remaining days. We then felt unable to use the outside dining area again in the evening and ate inside for the remainder of the holiday. We feel that it is completely unreasonable for guests, who have paid a lot of money to rent this property at the height of the summer season, to be unable to use what has clearly been set up as the eating area, for fear of disturbing the neighbours. Whilst we loved this property, we will not stay in it again and would be unable to recommend it to our friends, for the above reason. Visited in July
Tämän palautteen lisäksi pyydämme teitä tutustumaan Provence Holidaysille lähetettyyn sähköpostiin, jossa kerroimme lomamme valitettavasta alusta. Mielestämme tämä mas on kaunis, tyylikkäästi sisustettu ja hyvin varustettu talo. Olimme erittäin tyytyväisiä majoitukseen, puutarhaan ja uima-allasalueeseen. Ulkona sijaitseva ruokailutila on kuitenkin sijoitettu viereisen kiinteistön seinän viereen. Omistaja pyysi meitä kohteliaasti ennen vierailuamme poistumaan tältä alueelta klo 23 jälkeen, koska kyseessä on pysyvien asukkaiden koti, mihin suostuimme mielellämme. Viikon mittaisen lomamme keskiviikkona palkkasimme paikallisen kokin valmistamaan meille 70-vuotissyntymäpäiväillallisen. Päätimme syödä ulkona, ja kokki käytti keittiötiloja sekä sisällä olevaa pöytää aterian valmistamiseen. Olimme keskellä sivistynyttä perheateriaa, kun kello 21.25 naapurin pää ilmestyi muurin yli ja pyysi meitä olemaan hiljaa. Olimme täysin järkyttyneitä tästä pyynnöstä, eikä kokkammekaan voinut uskoa, kuinka kohtuuton vaatimus tämä oli. Naapuri valitti asiasta taloudenhoitajalle, joka lähetti meille seuraavana päivänä WhatsApp-viestin, jossa pyydettiin meitä siirtymään katoksen alle klo 22 alkaen, jos olisimme ulkona jäljellä olevina päivinä. Tämän jälkeen emme enää uskaltaneet käyttää ulkoilmaruokailutilaa iltaisin, vaan söimme sisällä loppuloman ajan. Mielestämme on täysin kohtuutonta, että vieraat, jotka ovat maksaneet paljon rahaa tämän majoituksen vuokraamisesta kesäkauden huipulla, eivät voi käyttää tilaa, joka on selvästi tarkoitettu ruokailualueeksi, pelosta häiritä naapureita. Vaikka pidimme tästä majoituspaikasta kovasti, emme aio majoittua siellä uudelleen emmekä voi suositella sitä ystävillemme edellä mainitusta syystä. Vierailtiin heinäkuussa
