Views exceptional and overall very relaxing and tranquil

The house was extremely well equipped and the grounds are simply stunning. The location is a short 10 minute walk to Le Thor and the house is very secluded and peaceful. The pool was fantastic, views exceptional and overall very relaxing and tranquil.

Genoten vandaag een heel fijn verblijf Disfrutado hoy de una estancia muy agradable

Heel mooi vakantiehuis. Net en mooi ingericht. Graag wat meer handdoeken (keuken en zwembad) maar dat is het enige minpuntje. Alles is aanwezig om een fijne vakantie te hebben. Gordes op een kleine afstand. Bakker en Spar aanwezig daar. Voor de rest is het wel een eindje rijden naar de grotere winkels. Maar de moeite waard want het huis ligt heel rustig. Mooie tuin. Ook Provence Holidays is een zeer betrouwbare partner in dit gegeven. We doen zeker nog beroep op jullie.

Muy bonita casa de vacaciones. Limpia y bien amueblada. Me gustaría más toallas (cocina y piscina), pero ese es el único inconveniente. Todo está allí para tener unas buenas vacaciones. Gordes a poca distancia. Panadería y Spar presente allí. Para el resto es un poco de un coche a las tiendas más grandes. Pero vale la pena porque la casa es muy tranquila. Hermoso jardin. Provence Holidays es también un socio muy fiable en esto. Definitivamente vamos a llamar de nuevo.

Provencal Holiday

Our group of three couples fell in love with Eygalieres. The village is picturesque, not overly crowded, and full of great restaurants. The villa was extremely hard to find and wasn't quite ready for us--the air conditioning in the casita took 24 hours to get going and the villa wasn't finished being cleaned. The kitchen was great and quite well equipped, the pool lovely, the setting wonderfully serene. It is a 5 minute drive into Eygalieres. The Friday Farmers Market is huge and wonderful.

Centrally located private home with great gardens/pool

This was an ideal place for 3 friends. Central location to many of the popular villages in the area. Home was clean, beds very comfortable and the garden/pool area very private. Just the right amount of space to relax comfortably

A holiday to remember

I really couldn’t find a single fault with this villa. Perfect does not do justice to it. A villa for a family get together with everything you could think of . The pool was amazing and the peaceful location of the villa with the surrounding private ground was a pleasure to explore.5 star

Such a lovely holiday!

We have just spent a lovely (extended by flight cancellations!) holiday in Provence with our extended family of 12, including 2 very young children. First week was at Mas Lilou near Rustrel which was absolutely fantastic. Really suitable for young children and a lovely atmospheric farmhouse with gorgeous pool and lots of shade. Due to current air transport issues ( for us, 3 days delay due to ATC problems at Marseille airport affecting everyone’s flights - BA, Ryanair, EasyJet) we booked at very short notice another house for 4 days (Villa des Siècles in Lagnes) while we were waiting for flights. An absolutely beautiful house, perhaps more suited for adults than children, but so stylish! And Provence Holidays have been so helpful! We will definitely book with you again! Liz

Magical Provence

Maison Gordes, once we found it, was all we hoped for and more. So many options for where to sit outdoors for breakfast/lunch/dinner or just to relax and the pool was lovely with fabulous views over the Luberon from the seating area above. Not too far from magical villages and markets either but the road in and out was VERY narrow! NB On arrival you need to turn in at Trois Cypres ... don't go past it!

A super house

An elegant house with contemporary interior, tastefully furnished and equipped, very spacious gardens all around and a large pool. Located in a quiet spot, but just a 10 minute walk into town (for the obligatory boulangerie!) and perfectly situated for visiting many places in Provence. Nice welcome with assistance on hand if needed (but respectful of one’s privacy). A great place and could have stayed longer!

Fabulous

We had an absolutely fabulous stay at the house. It was really authentic, well equipped and close to the charming village of Egalieres. Concierge services were faultless and our family is already discussing a return visit next summer. Maybe for two weeks!

Une vraie maison d'hôtes ! ¡Una auténtica casa de huéspedes!

Nous avons passé un superbe week-end en famille à 22 à la Bastide de Vidauban. Le lieu est un écrin paisible (encore plus quand les helico de la base d’à côté ont fini leurs entraînements ;) avec une très belle vue dégagée. Les logements sont très qualitatifs avec des vrais et grands espaces confortables pour chacun. On se sent tout de suite comme à la maison. Marion est aux petits soins, une présence discrète mais attentionnée et efficace, et nous recommande de supers prestas pour agrémenter notre séjour ! Je recommande !

Pasamos un magnífico fin de semana con nuestra familia de 22 en la Bastide de Vidauban. El lugar es un entorno tranquilo (aún más cuando los helicópteros de la base de al lado han terminado su entrenamiento ;) con una hermosa vista sin obstáculos. El alojamiento es de primera calidad, con espacios amplios y cómodos para todos. Te sientes como en casa. Marion es muy atenta, una presencia discreta pero atenta y eficiente, ¡y nos recomendó algunos servicios estupendos para hacer nuestra estancia aún más agradable! Sin duda, ¡lo recomiendo!

Magnifiques vacances! ¡Maravillosas vacaciones!

La villa est magnifique dans un endroit calme à proximité de Carpentras. Les chambres sont toutes agréables (avec des livres à disposition) et les espaces communs sont très grands et bien décorés. L'extérieur est incroyable avec une piscine pour adultes et une piscine enfants ainsi qu'un court de tennis ... Idéal avec des enfants!

La villa es magnífica en una zona tranquila cerca de Carpentras. Las habitaciones son todas agradables (con libros disponibles) y las zonas comunes son muy amplias y bien decoradas. La zona exterior es increíble, con una piscina para adultos y otra para niños, así como una pista de tenis... ¡Ideal con niños!

This place is perfection - truly

This place is perfection - truly. Brand new, beautifully designed, the backyard is so nice it feels like a resort. A huge selection of toys for kids. Everything you need in the house to have a comfortable stay. One minute walk from the center of the village (store, restaurants very close including a great burger place). An awesome central location in one of the prettiest corners of Provence. And if that weren't good enough - totally removed from the crowds, yet extremely close to everything when you want to be a part of it all. I'm actually sad writing this review - because I expect this place will always be booked if we try to come back again another time :-)

Lovely stay in Provence

It was the first time we were renting in Provence and it was a lovely experience. The property was well appointed, and clean, but most of all the owners were so friendly and helpful with suggestions, directions, etc.... The garden was well taken care of as was the pool and both were so enjoyable in the hot weather. To wake up in the morning looking at the Luberon mountains in the background was a real treat. We were welcomed with organic olive oil from the family's olive grove and fresh homemade fruit confitures. Caroline's mother was so nice and brought us a homemade lemon cake one day and more of her wonderful jams. Caroline brought us some freshly picked white peaches from their orchard which were absolutely delicious. The location in the village of Robion was very convenient and easy to get to, had all the stores we needed (pharmacy, stationery/newspapers store, butcher/caterer, boulangerie, vegetable and fruit market and a local mini market). And the town of Coustellet, a short drive away, offers a huge supermarket which has everything imaginable. We enjoyed the Sunday morning farmer's market there. It is well worth visiting. Also Robion is not far from other must see villages like Menerbes, Bonnieux, Lacoste, Gordes, Isle-sur-la-Sorgue. We recommend this property for a couple of a small family.

Such a great stay here in June 2022

Smart and comfortable villa with heated pool during a heatwave on a strawberry farm in June! Absolutely perfect! Very friendly and helpful support from Nathalie. Very good location for both town and countryside, we couldn’t have hoped for better.

The Ultimate Experience in Provence

There were so many wonderful parts of staying at Chez Christelle. I kept saying "if the walls could talk", I can only imagine the stories since 1850. The chateau and grounds are lovely and provide a very special experience that will never be forgotten. As a cook, I was so very appreciative of high end appliances in the kitchen. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and despite very hot temperatures, the fans in each room helped us to stay comfortable as we slept. I do regret that when I booked the Chez Christelle before COVID, my sons were all coming to join me. I felt it sad that there were only 3 of us to enjoy the home. Christel was so lovely in helping us when we had an issue with the hot water heater. We did miss meeting her in person. The "welcome" book, wine, strawberries and candy were such kind gifts; so very appreciated. Having stayed in many higher end AirB&B's across the world, I hope the following suggestions are helpful in renting this property going forward: The woman that checked us in and out did not speak ANY English. It was very difficult to communicate with her, and we could not get answers to our questions as a result. As a side note: I signed up for French classes when we arrived home 2 days ago! Provence Holidays did have a representative call, but when I called back and left a message, a return call was not made. I did not hear from anyone again in the 2 weeks I was there. I do want to mention that over the 2 years I was waiting to visit, Simon and the other agents at Provence Holidays were AMAZING! I so very much appreciated their help and the opportunity to keep my reservation for such a lengthy time period. Other rentals I have been in have included: paper towels, new bath soaps ( they were used here), plastic wrap, baggies and trash bags.The Kitchen dish soap was watered down and not full and there were only 3 dishwashing tabs left for us. Additionally, it would have been wonderful to have been given the "heads up" on the mosquito issue. We were all bitten rather badly right away. We did not come prepared with insect repellant. Our temperatures reached 103 degrees, so obviously this issue is a summer one. We had to go to the large market immediately the next morning for all of these supplies. We needed instructions for both the stovetop and microwave. A history of the chateau in the welcome book would have been a wonderful addition. We were so curious. At check out, we were told there would be a "walk through" and an "inventory" taken; I asked what this was for as I had never experienced it with other rentals; I was not given a response. We would have better prepared for this if we had known what to do. In addition to instructions at check out for trash removal, I think it would be helpful to give instructions on what to do with the linens as well. Also, we weren't sure if we should have run the dishwasher. I would HIGHLY recommend this property to others and once again, will never forget the most amazing time we had there. I hope that I might return again as well.

Fantastic location with a Jacuzzi and Sauna

Fantastic stay! Fantastic location, 20 minutes walk from the wonderful village of Gordes, about 30 minutes drive from Roussillon and L'Isle-sur-la-sorgue. The building is beautiful. Very nice swimming pool, very quiet. There is even a Jacuzzi and sauna... We hope to return.
