Domaine de l'Angèle
Domaine de l'Angèle is a six-generation family-run vineyard on the outskirts of the village of Goult. The vineyards offer unobstructed views of the Petit Luberon and Mont Ventoux.
The history of the estate is closely linked to Angèle, the family's ancestor, who structured the vineyard by laying out the terraces around the cellar, digging a well and planting an oak tree that still stands today. She also contributed to the gradual expansion of the vineyard.
The estate bears her name in tribute to her founding role and the work she undertook to develop the estate.
Domaine de l'Angèle extends over thirty hectares of vines, spread over south-facing slopes. The parcels are integrated into a landscape of olive trees and table grapes, forming a diversified agricultural ensemble.
The vines are planted on deep clay-limestone soils and lighter silty-clay soils. The vineyard is managed using a "lutte raisonnée" approach, with practices such as tillage, controlled grassing, pruning, disbudding and leaf thinning, to enhance grape quality while limiting the need for treatments.
Particular attention is paid to the natural balance of the estate. Certified High Environmental Value (HVE), the vineyard is managed in such a way as to preserve fauna, flora and natural resources, reducing the impact on soil, water and biodiversity.
