Château Sainte Roseline
French Riviera - Countryside > Arcs
Located in Les Arcs-sur-Argens, Château Sainte Roseline is an AOP Côtes de Provence wine estate, recognized as a Cru Classé. The site also benefits from a heritage classification, reflecting its historical and cultural importance in the region.
Ideally positioned between the Bay of Saint-Tropez, Cannes, the Gorges du Verdon and Aix-en-Provence, the estate is an accessible stopover for discovering the landscapes and wines of Provence.
Today, Château Sainte Roseline is one of the most visited estates in the region, attracting visitors interested in both wine and local heritage.
Since 2007, Aurélie Bertin-Teillaud has pursued the development of Château Sainte Roseline with particular attention to the environment. The estate is committed to sustainable development, and the vineyard is now farmed organically.
The Teillaud family also maintains close links with contemporary art. For over fifteen years, works by established artists have been exhibited on the estate every summer, integrated into the outdoor spaces and buildings.
The vineyard extends over one hundred and ten hectares of AOP Côtes de Provence Cru Classé, a distinction obtained in 1955. The clay-limestone soils, combined with the presence of a deep spring, ensure a regular supply of water to the vines and contribute to the quality of the grapes.
Several grape varieties are grown, enabling the production of rosé, white and red wines. The reds are based on Syrah, Mourvèdre and Cabernet Sauvignon. Rosés combine Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Cinsault and Tibouren. The whites are made from rolle and sémillon.
The work in the vineyard is based on demanding practices designed to promote berry concentration. The eight-hundred-square-meter winery is equipped with thermo-regulated vats and a modern sorting system, providing the right conditions for precise vinification.
