Wonderful

I spent four weeks here and it was absolutely wonderful. The house and setting with beautiful gardens are more lovely than the pictures. The town is very quaint and has a fantastic market on Fridays. It was like a refuge from the world.

Perfect rental for a couple, very pleasant house with an extraordinary swimming pool, the proximity of the owners is absolutely not a problem, on the other hand, think that we are far from everything, therefore rest guaranteed but provide supplies. Relaxing and very pleasant stay to do without hesitation

Very well maintained cottage and estate in a beautiful and peaceful environment. Very warm welcome by the owners, discreet but very available.

Very pleasant gîte, quiet and fully equipped, with a superb view of the countryside and the Cévennes in the background. Very pleasant terrace and pool area. Excellent welcome and very friendly owners who will give you good advice on how to enjoy the region.

Particularly pleasant stay in a wooded and very calm environment. Optimal conditions of stay.

We had a lovely, peaceful family holiday in this pretty house on the heights of Nîmes. You have to take the car for everything but that's the price of peace. The house is very nice and well equipped. The owner is very nice.

Excellent welcome and very pleasant stay in the middle of olive trees and 1 km from St Rémy! The house is very well decorated. Finally a nap near the pool very popular with everyone !!

The owners are very good advice for visiting the area.

Merci

The description, the photos, all this only reveals part of the treasures of this mill .... adorable owners, a mill that perfectly meets its description but in addition, an extraordinary view. The region is very beautiful but we were always delighted to return to the mill where we found peace, relaxation and the happiness of contemplating wonderful landscapes. Thank you

The house is beautiful

We stayed for two weeks in July. It was a wonderful time for us. The village is peaceful and welcoming, and the house is beautiful. We have two children, and we invited another two couples with their children. The children loved the house. We cooked and ate and visited the local area. Bliss….

Superbe Superb

We spent a week in this superb house, in fact too short a period. The villa is furnished with great love and nothing is missing. It is also for this exceptional equipment concerning babies / children that we felt very comfortable. Your warm and personal welcome, as well as your effortless way at all times and in all respects - at the same time very discreet, all of this we appreciated. Finally, we would like to cordially thank you once again for giving us delicious delicacies.

Very Enjoyable Holiday

The owners and their representative were most helpful and welcoming before we arrived. The house and its ground were delightful and provided the space, privacy, tranquility and amenities which we had hoped for. It was well located away from traffic but in easy reach of a good range of activities and scenery although for a good amount of time we just enjoyed relaxing around the pool and on the terrace. The house was equipped to an excellent level and very comfortable both inside and out. It was brilliant to have plenty of fridge and freezer space. The good range of places to sit for meals meant that all times of day and weather conditions could be accommodated. Even at its hottest, 37 degrees, there was good shade and the air conditioning provided comfortable nights when needed. We would certainly consider renting it again and recommending it to our friends

Magnifique! Magnificent!

Magnificent house ideal for sharing a week with friends between a petanque plancha pool ping pong molki slake line and card games under the trellis on the terrace. Without forgetting the figs and apples from the garden. Comfort is guaranteed, and the kitchen contains everything you need to prepare good meals. Add to that the very warm welcome from the owners .. To recommend without moderation!

Heaven on earth!

Superb villa with a very nice garden and swimming pool. The outside kitchen with bbq is very useful and spacious. With 38 degrees outside, the air-conditioning in each room was a must . The little town Eygalieres is very close and offers plenty of restaurants and bars. Went for bread each morning on the bikes that come with the property. The villa is situated in 'Les Alpilles' which is a very beautiful national park. The villa is ideal for family holidays. We had a wonderful stay and are already talking of going back.

Excellent!

We had an excellent stay in this fabulous house. There were 9 of us in our party and the accommodation was extremely comfortable at that level. All of the facilities were of a very high standard, with the property and grounds very well maintained by Daniel and Mireille, who were friendly and extremely helpful. The rooms were presented very well and the air-con in the main three rooms made life very easy on the occasional stuffy night. For a full party (15) I would have thought an additional fridge in the main house would have been a worthwhile addition, if only to chill the vast quantities of Rosé wine that have to be consumed when in the Alpilles area. It would also be helpful to have a BBQ a little closer to the house. The house is well placed for Eygalières (little to do, but plenty of restaurants - we went to three and the quality of the food was great), Cavaillon (a bit of the same, but much bigger, and where would highly recommend a meal at Prévôt). Aix is a 40 minute drive away, but easily accessible and a lovely town. St Rémy is also very nice (but we prefer it when the market is not on, as it is absolutely packed then). The local boulangerie is extremely good and open seven days a week. This is our third visit to the area and was our most enjoyable - I'd highly recommend it.

Wonderful Holiday

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful property. It is excellently equipped with a large open plan kitchen on the first floor (so no ants/bugs) plus another fully functional outdoor kitchen beside the pool, great for outdoor drinks and snacks. All of the bathrooms have large wet-room-style showers and the master bedroom's en-suite is huge with a luxurious bath for de-stressing. The villa is situated in a sleepy hamlet and offers total privacy and quiet. The outdoor balcony, complete with full size dining table and umbrella, is perfect for overlooking the pool and grounds whilst eating al fresco. Lourmarin (best Friday market) is only 20 mins away and Aix 45 mins so the villa's location is superb if you want to explore Provence. JR and Camille are charming and responsive and keep the villa in excellent order. We recommend this property highly for a relaxing visit to this delightful part of the world.

A fantastic house and garden in a wonderful location. We really enjoyed a restful two weeks and found Stephanie to be extremely helpful.

Villa a re-loué...

Superb villa, there is all the equipment you need to travel light and be at home,. I recommend it especially if you are several it is very spacious you will not feel at all tight. Villa has re-rented .. .

The description corresponds well to reality, atypical dwelling, very pleasant to live in and romantic. An exceptional view of the Alpilles, we never tire of it. The welcome by the owners is excellent, ditto for their advice on visits and walks.

Very Special

We stayed at Villa des Sources in Lourmarin, which was a fabulous retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We loved playing tennis everyday and enjoyed lounging around the pool and utilising all the fabulous terraces. We even took our own croquet set with us and set up a fabulous pitch on the lower lawn. There is a wonderful boules court and outdoor table tennis, so plenty to keep everyone occupied. The house itself was incredibly spacious and comfortable with air conditioning throughout. All the rooms were a good size and very comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped, especially the very large fridge! Villa des Sources really gives you the feeling that you are privileged enough to stay in someone’s home. It was very special.
