Beautiful property with breathtaking view of Gordes

The property is beautiful, with many freely accessible facilities (kitchen, common room with herbal tea bar, swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sauna...) and with a pedestrian path with a breathtaking view of Gordes allowing to be there in 10 minutes. The room + bathroom is perfectly decorated and equipped.

Stylish and comfortable place with great outdoor area

What a great place to stay for cycling Ventoux and the surrounding area. We could not have asked for more for our cycling holiday. Stylish and comfortable place with great outdoor area and pool which was essential for the recent scorching temperatures. Easy walking distance to local bars, shops and restaurants. Good secure location for bikes. Would definitely stay here again if we return.

great house, even better than it looks in photos

We would have loved to stay longer. Main room big and spacious and while we were only 4, it would be good for up to 10. Pool fantastic. With great area around it and beautiful views. Friendly welcome by Martine. Easy to walk to Lagnes. Garden is beautifully maintained and really makes a huge difference.

Absolutely Perfect

This was our second visit to Chez Cecile with our 2 grown-up children and their other halves. It did not disappoint and everything was as great as it was in 2019. The outdoor space is exceptional.

Great House and Location

We loved the house and the location. We were traveling with a baby and the house was well set up for what you need. We also liked the fact that the house had large modern appliances, from the range to the frig/freezer to the washer dryer. Pool was great and the location was perfect for visiting lots of towns and sites - or staying the quiet around the pool.

Dream Holiday house

Really lived up to expectations. Very helpful meet and greet person who quickly responded to some minor queries. Amazingly large pool which all 9 of us enjoyed. House very spacious and beautiful decor. It was extremely hot during our visit so the air con was very welcome.

Sehr schönes Haus Very nice house

Jederzeit wieder.

A beautiful place, just outside the villages. The house promises what is shown in the photos. Lots of opportunities to spend time together, with plenty of opportunities to retreat. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. A car is a must, otherwise it is very difficult to reach the house. Any time.

Sheer bliss in luxurious surroundings

Stunningly beautiful villa, every convenience and more supplied. Clean to the highest standard. Large bedrooms and bathrooms with exceptionally comfortable beds. Cannot emphasise strongly enough how special this villa is. Alice was very welcoming and walked us through everything perfectly

Beautiful house, spacious and well equipped, magnificent kitchen and very comfortable bedrooms with adjoining bathrooms, good bedding. Three families spent a pleasant week there, each having their own privacy. Superb swimming pool. Only downside, no air conditioning, so rooms difficult to cool and it was very very hot! 2 minutes by car from the village and shops, magnificent market on Wednesday mornings.

A Villa to make Provence dreams come true

10/10 on every level, this house made our vacation perfect. We were a pair of families traveling together. The Villa met all of our kid’s needs as well as our multi family needs. It was beautiful inside and out, we could’ve stayed within the property the entire time. However our goal was to travel Provence on daily trips using the Villa as home base, and we found many lovely excursions throughout Provence easy to get to and from from the house. This, in part, was made easy by the regional references provided by Provence Holidays, which were extremely helpful. We would love to visit here again.

Fantastic Family Holiday

A wonderful house with every facility you could wish for. Fantastic owners who were on hand to help with any questions. It was perfect!

IDYLLIC

We had the most relaxing holiday at Chez Fannie. From the word go it all worked ….. the villa was stunning, set in the most beautiful grounds, tastefully decorated and spotless. The outdoor seating / kitchen area and pool area are well placed to wander in and out for a dip whilst enjoying something chilled under the shade of the vines, cypress & olive trees. The garden is large and perfect for children with lots to entertain them with outside. Thor is in a good location to explore the nearby Luberon, Arles and Remy de Provence, just a few of the many fabulous places! Provence Holidays were efficient, knowledgeable and helpful - thank you to you and the owners for helping to make our holiday so lovely!

Family holiday in Provence

I have no criticisms whatsoever. It was all first class

Quaint, small town in the Luberon. Unique house!

There were 3 of us (women in our 50s) who stayed in this very unique home in the side of a mountain. The plunge pool was a saving grace because it was SO HOT when we were there. Rooms had A/C units (but one didn't work so well) but the little Plunge Pool was amazing and gave us some relief. The road to the house is literally through the little town and is VERY narrow. There is free parking (for people who are renting) in the village which we did not know about until a few days into our trip. There is a parking lot outside the house but no assigned parking for the house. I'm not sure I would recommend this house for families with small kids as the road literally outside the house's main door is DIRECTLY on a road (and the cars go really fast past the house). So be very careful when opening your door and stepping outside. The little village of Menerbes was certainly charming and not filled with tourists. It was a good place to stay while day-tripping to La Coste, Bonnieux, Apt, Lourmarin, Gordes. The sunflower fields surrounding Menerbes were beautiful. The Master bedroom of the house is to die for. It is super huge (toilet and sink are up a little staircase) and the shower is in the bedroom. So it's definitely unique but so cool. The upstairs outside patio was one of our favorite places to sit at night. I would say that the kitchen amenities are not quite up to par (we ate out most times so it wasn't a huge deal), but there aren't many regular-sized spoons - like there are huge serving spoons and a small sugar spoon - but not regular spoons. This is just one example. There were ants in the kitchen (so make sure you put all food in the small fridge). It would have been difficult to make a large meal, in our opinion, with the currently provided kitchen items. But if you're eating out at the lovely restaurants nearby, then it's likely not to be a huge issue. The wifi was good if you were in the dining room or TV room on the main level. But there was limited signals in the Master Bedroom. Those would be the only things I would like to mention as part of my review.

Familienferien family vacation

We have experienced wonderful family holidays. The spacious house and the huge garden with pool are ideal for a family with different interests. Inside and outside there are retreats. The house and furnishings corresponded exactly to the information.

Bref, je n’aurais jamais pu trouver meilleur logements In short, I could never have found better accommodations

Super quiet places, ideal for unwinding and resting. The proximity of Ventoux is undoubtedly an asset that will convince many customers. But in fact, it's not just Ventoux, cycling to Vénasque or Sault is also very nice. The possibility of bringing your dog is an invaluable plus, and the fenced garden is a security. The garden is impeccably maintained, and in a location where temperatures can soar, that's remarkable. In terms of accommodation, what more could you ask for: space, cleanliness, brightness, and air conditioning. In short, I could never have found better accommodation, especially at the last minute… Recommended for people looking for a destination in Provence for sporty, relaxing holidays with (or not) their dog.

Pure perfection

Pure perfection! We (13 people & 2x dogs) had a wonderful time from start to finish. The place is just stunning, with beautiful areas to sit inside and outside as smaller or one large group. The kitchen is well equipped with 2x dish washers (phew!) we cooked / bbq’d at home most nights bar one, when we went to a lovely restaurant just 40 mins walk away. The pool was the cherry on top with lush grass / seats / loungers and of course a fridge! It was hard to pull ourselves away from this space, but we did on occasion and visited St Remy, Gordes and Wave Island. All recommended. I would 100% recommend this place to everyone!

Such a beautiful property

Incredible home and location! Such a beautiful property! Would suggest anyone with a big group and kids stay here!
