What makes this town special?
Located at the foot of the Tanneron, which has this incredible forest of mimosas, Mandelieu organizes in February each year the famous festival of this small yellow and fragrant flower, which constitutes, with the carnival of Nice and the Lemon festival of Menton, one highlights of the Côte d'Azur. Not to be missed under any circumstances if you are in the area.
Because it is also at the foot of the Estérel massif, Mandelieu-la Napoule is one of the greenest towns on the coast and the leading golfing destination on the Côte d'Azur. For activities, you will have the choice between hiking, golf, horse riding or mountain biking. With its 3 kilometers of coast and its 7 beaches, water sports and leisure are in the spotlight: sailing, diving, water skiing, parasailing, rowing, kayaking and boating. You can even swim with the dolphins!
Between two swims, you have to go for a walk on the side of the port and visit the castle and its gardens, which occupy a superb site on the seafront. The building was restored by the American Henry Clews, the gardens are the work of his wife. A unique place! Château beach offers a Nice change of scenery.
