Le Cannet, Cote d'Azur / French Riviera

A few kilometers from Cannes, Le Cannet, sheltered from the north winds thanks to its mountainous background, enjoys a dry and temperate climate all year round, and more than 123 days of sunshine! It is therefore very pleasant to stay there even in winter. The city offers an unparalleled panorama of the Mediterranean!

What makes this village special?

Nestled in the heart of the 7 hills, planted with mimosas, pines, orange and olive trees, Le Cannet offers quite spectacular views of the Mediterranean, the Lérins Islands and the Estérel massif. The painter Pierre Bonnard was not mistaken! He spent his last twenty years in Le Cannet and painted the city there many times, making it famous throughout the world. The landscapes and the midday light were for him inexhaustible sources of inspiration.

A visit to the Bonnard Museum, the only museum in the world dedicated to the work of the painter, is a must. A walk "In the footsteps of Bonnard" is proposed from the museum, along the Siagne canal and near the painter's house. A real joy !

It is good to stroll through the alleys of the old village, in typical Provençal colors, to discover a very rich architectural heritage. Don't miss rue Saint-Sauveur, where there are a multitude of small artists' and craftsmen's boutiques. Obviously, Le Cannet offers cafes and restaurants where you can rest, savor the present moment and enjoy yourself!
