Domaine Des Terres Blanches
The Alpilles > Saint-Rémy-de-Provence
The estate offers a complete wine tourism package, enabling visitors to discover the wines of the Loire Valley and organic viticulture practices.
Guided tours of the vineyards and cellars offer an insight into the terroirs and the work carried out to preserve soil quality and biodiversity. They also provide an insight into the specific characteristics of the appellations produced on the estate.
Tastings present the different cuvées, with a particular focus on the white wines made from Sauvignon Blanc, as well as the winemaking and ageing methods used.
Complementary activities, such as harvest workshops, food and wine pairing events or vineyard walks, offer an immersive approach to the estate and its environment.
The estate's soils come from the foothills of the Alpilles mountains, and are made up of colluvial materials combining limestone, silt and clay.
This geological diversity is reflected in the different soil types found in the vineyards. To the south, the plots are planted in deep, well-structured clay-limestone soils that are favorable to vines and resistant to periods of drought. To the north, soils are composed of colluvium on sandy and stony alluvium, sometimes marked by the presence of red clay.
This variety of substrates offers different conditions for different plots, contributing to the complexity and expression of the wines produced on the estate.
