Mas De Gourgonnier
Located near Les Baux-de-Provence, this family-run estate produces AOP Les Baux-de-Provence reds and rosés, and IGP Alpilles whites.
The vineyard is planted with a variety of grape varieties, including grenache, syrah, cinsault, carignan, mourvèdre and cabernet-sauvignon for reds and rosés, and grenache blanc, rolle and roussanne for whites.
All our wines are made in compliance with the appellation's criteria, guaranteeing a close link between the product, the terroir and the domaine's know-how.
The influence of the Alpilles mountains plays a decisive role in the development of the vineyards. The relief provides natural protection from the winds, while creating a favorable microclimate.
The alternation of sunny days and cooler nights allows the grapes to ripen gradually, helping to preserve their acidity and maintain the balance of the wines.
These conditions contribute directly to the quality and expression of the terroir.
The 20 hectares of olive trees surrounding the vineyard contribute to the overall balance of the estate.
Their presence helps to structure a diversified ecosystem, encouraging biodiversity and natural interactions between crops.
Together, they create a coherent environment, where vines and olive trees coexist in an integrated agricultural approach.
