Château Pesquié
Nestled between the Alps and the Mediterranean, the vineyard of Château Pesquié benefits from a truly exceptional microclimate. The influence of the mountains, combined with altitude and cool night-time temperatures, creates ideal conditions for crafting wines of balance, freshness, and finesse.
Located at the heart of the Mont Ventoux Regional Natural Park—also recognized as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve—the estate is surrounded by a landscape of remarkable biodiversity. This preserved environment, both powerful and delicate, shapes the identity of the wines as much as it inspires those who cultivate them.
For the Chaudière family, protecting this ecosystem is not simply a commitment—it is an essential responsibility. Safeguarding the land, respecting its rhythms, and preserving its natural beauty are at the core of their vision, ensuring that each wine remains a true expression of its origin.
A FAMILY OF WINEGROWERS
For over fifty years, three generations of the Chaudière family have guided Château Pesquié with a shared ambition: to explore and reveal the full expression of the AOC Ventoux terroir.
Certified organic by Ecocert, the vineyard reflects a deep commitment to sustainable viticulture. Today, Alexandre and Frédéric Chaudière continue this legacy, cultivating the vines according to biodynamic principles, with precision, care, and respect for the living world.
This late-ripening terroir, shaped by a remarkable geological richness and a predominance of limestone, gives rise to wines of freshness, balance, and distinctive character—true reflections of their origin.
