Mathieu and Sébastien offer a mouth-watering traditional Provencal menu, as well as a value-for-money daily special, with tasty, carefully-crafted dishes that go straight to the heart of the matter. We aim for simplicity and good taste, without forgetting a certain generosity, with selected regional products: vegetables and olive oil from the village, lamb from the Alpilles, fish from the Bay of Cannes, beef from the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence... Located in Mérindol, in the heart of the Luberon, La Terrasse des Cigales offers Provencal cuisine made from fresh, local produce. The restaurant is open all year round, and features a shaded terrace used in fine weather.
The menu changes regularly with the seasons. Dishes include roasted Mallemort asparagus with velouté, smoked trout cannelloni with truffled ricotta, scallops with asparagus risotto, and chicken supreme stuffed with morel mushrooms. For dessert, an apple custard completes the menu.
The restaurant can also be privatized for special events. The whole experience is based on a structured cuisine, centered on the terroir and seasonal produce.
