Le Rowing Club restaurant offers a rooftop space overlooking Marseille's Old Port. The venue hosts both business and private events, with a team on hand to help guests organize meetings suited to the setting. The rooftop can be booked for events such as afterwork, evening receptions or private celebrations. The terrace also hosts daytime meetings, including brunches, with views over the port and the Mediterranean. The restaurant offers a menu accompanied by a selection of wines from local and regional producers.
Chef Christian Ernst has been in charge of the kitchen since eighteen hundred and ninety-eight. Both chef and owner of the restaurant, he has received several distinctions during his career, including the title of Maître Restaurateur. He was also a finalist in the French Pastry Championships and the Transgourmet national competition in the apprentice category, and was recognized as a "hopeful" by the Michelin Guide in 2008. His work focuses on developing the menu, working closely with suppliers and supervising the kitchen and dining room teams. The result is a restaurant where the setting of the Old Port and the cuisine presented at table remain intimately linked.
