MAS SAINTE BERTHE
The Alpilles > Les Baux-de-Provence
This estate, located at the foot of Les Baux-de-Provence, has a long history dating back to the 17th century, when the site was a farm linked to a seigneurial residence.
The vineyard extends over 40 hectares, all of which are classified as AOP Les Baux-de-Provence. It benefits from a warm, sunny Mediterranean climate and poor limestone soils typical of the Alpilles region.
These conditions favor the production of concentrated grapes, giving structured wines with good aromatic intensity and a certain complexity.
The red wines develop profiles marked by black fruit aromas, enhanced by spicy notes and sometimes a touch of minerality, bringing freshness and balance. Their structure gives them good ageing potential.
Rosés are distinguished by a fresher expression, with aromas of red fruit, citrus and flowers, accompanied by Mediterranean nuances. The whole remains balanced, with a supple, precise texture.
The whites offer a harmonious profile between roundness and liveliness, with controlled acidity underpinning the whole.
The estate is farmed organically, an approach designed to preserve the soil and biodiversity. This approach contributes to a clearer expression of terroir, with structured, consistent wines from controlled production.
