Château Henri Bonnaud
Aix-en-Provence > Le Tholonet
Today, this family estate is run by the third generation, embodied by Stéphane Spitzglous, who took over the reins in the 1990s.
After starting out in winemaking in the early 2000s, he gradually developed the estate, notably with the creation of specific cuvées and the construction of new facilities.
Committed to a consistent approach, he steered the vineyard towards organic farming, both in the vineyard and in the cellar.
All this reflects a personal and progressive approach, based on family transmission and direct involvement in all stages of production.
The Quintessence range represents the estate's most accomplished selection, designed to precisely express the potential of the AOC Palette terroir.
Available in white, rosé and red, it is aged in wood for several months to more than a year, depending on the cuvée, bringing structure, complexity and ageing potential.
Cuvée Henri Bonnaud, the estate's first creation, takes a more original approach, with manual harvesting and a desire to faithfully reflect the identity of the appellation.
Together, they offer structured wines designed for gastronomy, with the potential to evolve over time.
