Golf des Domaines de Saint Endrol
French Riviera - Countryside > La Motte
Golf de l’Endre in Provence
Set along the river Endre, this eighteen-hole course unfolds within a calm and natural environment shaped by the surrounding landscape.
A course shaped by nature
Designed by Michel Gayon and inaugurated in August nineteen ninety-two, the layout follows the natural contours of the terrain. The course reflects both the structure and unpredictability of the environment, requiring adaptability throughout the round.
The river, which gives the estate its name, runs alongside parts of the course and contributes to both its setting and its technical features.
Recognised among established golf courses in France, it offers a round defined by its connection to the landscape.
A VARIED COURSE FOR ALL LEVELS
Set beneath the Rocher de Roquebrune, the course at Saint Endréol follows a rolling landscape shaped by the river, water features, garrigue, oak trees and mature umbrella pines.
The layout is undulating and can be physically demanding in places, yet remains accessible to a wide range of players. Each fairway presents a distinct configuration, requiring different approaches throughout the round.
KEY HOLES ON THE COURSE
Several holes stand out for their design. Hole two introduces a water hazard alongside a right dogleg, requiring careful positioning. Hole thirteen is one of the most recognisable, with a tee shot played from elevation towards a green set close to the water. The final hole brings players back towards the clubhouse, finishing within view of the terrace.
PLAYING CONDITIONS
The course is open to players with a handicap of up to thirty-six. It offers a balanced experience, combining technical elements with a layout suited to both progression and regular play.
