Things to note

Pool Safety: the swimming pool is secured by an alarm but, for young children, extra care and supervision is recommended.
Access: bordered by a traditional stone wall, the narrow driveway is not suitable for wide vehicles.
Additional Bedroom: the second living room can be converted into an additional bedroom, with its own ensuite bathroom, for an extra fee. Please get in touch with the Provence Holidays team if you require this service.
Reduced Mobility: with narrow staircases throughout, this property may not be suitable for those with reduced mobility.

Beautifully designed with a stunning pool

We had a really wonderful time at Valerie's lovely home in Gordes. It's the perfect spot to use as a base for exploring the Luberon. The house is very spacious and comfortable, particularly with A/C in the summer. It's beautifully designed and furnished, with everything that you need for a stay. The best part was the pool. Valerie was very kind, helpful, and easy to communicate with. She gave great recommendations about what to do in the area. We weren't able to do all of them because of our shorter stay there, but I hope that if she keeps renting out this house, we'll be able to come back again one day for a longer stay!

Beautiful villa in a private location

The villa was lovely, lots of space both inside and outside with the pool being a real bonus in the hot weather. The villa is at the end of a private lane and has total privacy. The location was stated as being walking distance to Gordes - the village centre is 1.5miles away and all uphill, so ok if you don't mind the exercise; we had bikes with us so it was a bit more accessible. The booking process and communication throughout was excellent. The villa was very clean(apart from the BBQ which had not been emptied) and the friendly pool cleaner came mid way through the week aswell. Suggestion for arrival procedure is to include the keycode on welcome email.

The quintessential Provence experience

The property is still exactly as pictured but even more beautiful. The quintessential Provence experience! The walk to town is stunning along the pedestrian paths, but it is a bit of an uphill hike so good to keep in mind if you aren’t a walker. We loved it! The whole place looks like a beautiful painting. Valerie leaves the most wonderful notes on what to see and do and some great restaurant suggestions. As Americans, we could have used some notes on how to use the stove and oven. It’s an induction stove (sp?) so we didn’t know you had to put the pan on top for it to heat! But the property manager quickly cleared that up in a phone call. Would highly recommend this beautiful home.
