The course was designed by Robert Trent Jones Senior and is recognised among the leading layouts in continental Europe. Its design reflects a structured and technical approach, shaped by the natural terrain of the surrounding hills.

A COURSE WITHIN A PROTECTED NATURAL SETTING
Set within a natural park in the Massif des Maures, the course is integrated into an environment that also serves as a wildlife reserve. The landscape is defined by umbrella pines, cork oak trees and Mediterranean vegetation, shaping both the setting and the playing experience.
The layout follows the natural terrain, offering clear views across the surrounding hills throughout the round.
A LONG-TERM ENVIRONMENTAL APPROACH
Environmental management is central to the operation of the estate. In partnership with the National Museum of Natural History in Paris, the Vidauban Corporate Foundation for the Environment, established in two thousand and seven, supports ongoing work to study and preserve the site.
This approach reflects a commitment to maintaining the natural balance of the area while operating a golf course within it.
