Domaine de La Vallongue
Domaine de la Vallongue covers 400 hectares of natural landscape between Eygalières and Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, including 33 hectares of vines and 80 hectares of olive groves.
The vineyard features several Provencal grape varieties, including grenache, syrah, cinsault, cabernet sauvignon, clairette and rolle. The olive grove features a variety of local varieties, reflecting the estate's agricultural diversity.
Located at the foot of the Vallongue valley, an ancient Roman road, the site has evolved over time, moving from pastoral activity to viticulture in the 1970s, and then to an operation structured around the terroir.
The estate has been farmed organically since 1985, in an unspoilt environment of garrigue and rocky Alpilles hills.
Created in 1968 in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, this estate covers 60 hectares, including 33 hectares of vines on the northern slopes of the Alpilles, in an environment of garrigue and woodland.
The vineyard has been farmed organically since 1970. It features several white grape varieties, including vermentino, clairette, grenache blanc, marsanne and sauvignon blanc, as well as red grape varieties such as mourvèdre, grenache noir, cinsault, syrah and cabernet sauvignon.
The blends highlight an expression of the Alpilles terroir, with profiles balanced between minerality, aromatic intensity and structure.
